That's why you should consider your position since you have lots of people at your tea party.
I'm the outsider, as we all know.

It's not, really it's not. As we all know it's hard for the old guard when change comes. You all know how them alums are that have been in the chapter for 40 years.Wow....It sounds bad at sTu. I guess we need to kick them out of the conference! LOL
Well I am a McClelland guy and don't give a shit who knows it. I remember what it was like before him and I can imagine what it would be like without him. Sometimes we don't miss our water until the well goes dry. It's not, really it's not. As we all know it's hard for the old guard when change comes. I have very high hopes and expectations for Dr. Lane. I believe he will be great for TSU.
Change cometh...
I'm just thankful that greatness acknowledges the peasants occasionally
6-16 .273$300k to win 5 games a year smh
And had a winning season and remained in the championship race each season. How is what they received "near the death penalty"? They were given 5 years probation, docked 2 scholarships and had practice restrictions. We were given 5 years probation, docked 5 scholarships and had practice restrictions plus couldn't have spring practices for a number of years.
I’m sure right now the TXSU faithful is feeling the wrath and calls are being made to the administration. I’m sure before the article came out nobody knew he was the highest paid in the SWAC let along in Black College Football. Yes I know he has D1 pedigree but think about it he put himself in this situation with his actions at Pitt but I’m not going to speak on that. Also he knows what’s at stake this isn’t his first HC gig. Fobbs was a first time head coach that some probably felt was hired to bring winning back but he has Grambling back to respectability. Southern should feel bad the way they paying Odums and the level of accountability. Jackson state fired a 90 year old man and they gettingvthe same results. My bulldogs better start winning or else because there is nothing we can do at this point.
The 100 fans we have and even less that provide financial support are getting exactly what we are paying for.
Guess I have been in the other world to long. We need Texas to help us as Texas AM is helping PV.
Vent on my fellow Tigers. I think we are getting way more than we deserve.
CMac if you get a job offer anywhere, take it. Sending a donation to the Grambling foundation. They stepped up and gave Coach Fobbs what he deserved.
Oh by the way; graduation rates are up, apr is up, but that does not matter.
John Sharp loves the PV Campus. Force the deal thru to loan the 61 million to build the stadium and other infrastructure upgrades. No sarcasm, think it is over due.

They did not give you anything that was not deserved. The money for from the stadium came frrom Texas AM. The increase atudent guving as well as Alumni giving(projected) is a fraction of the total outlay. But if you believe what you say, so be it.It was posted here when he got that deal. Those that wanted to know about it knew about it.
Why is it this (highlighted above) always come from the stu folks?
Because of resources.
Yes, he does love our campus but the students and alumni (mostly students) financed that stadium. They voted to have a fee added on to pay extra for athletics and athletic facilities. They challenged the Alumni to match their 4 year contribution and some of us (alumni) have done just that thru our foundation. So don't make it seem like the TAMu System gave us funds to do it.[/QUOTE
Come on Fiyah. You know this is not true. I made a donation tthat was matched, so I still get the pleas.
That part, Texas has been dealing from the bottom of the deck for P.V. and TSU. The money they gave is probably only the interest on what they actually owe. They did not give you anything that was not deserved.
I'm not a people person, I'm a results person. I don't have to like you, I only need to like the work you do.Well I am a McClelland guy and don't give a shit who knows it. I support the school...no matter who is in the drivers seat...even if I can't stand their dirty drawers.
Dr. McClelland is a hard worker and a good guy overall. Talking about making bricks without straw, he has done that and more. Anybody who wants to argue that point is either a hypocrite or being disingenuous. When he came we were shoulders deep in doo-doo...now we are a stone's throw from being where we need to be.
That is all I have say on this subject in a public forum.
Haywood had no where else to go. He was out of football for 5 years couldn't even get a job as a SP teams coach in FBS. Should have offered his arse 175K plus incentives 20K for every game over .500, 15K championship appearance 25k for a W.You can get somebody that’s actually winning for $220-250k and pay your assistants more. But i guess that’s too much like being right. Don’t let me start on that O Line last year they was awful and they hired ol boy from Jackson St. thought he was the savior.
It is not about supporting any one A.D. or Coach. It is abt supporting the student athletes & the programs. I am not asking anyone to do anything. My opinion is it you have to ask, then it is already a problem. One thing I have learn in over 40 years in the insurance business is when & who to ask. I give because I feel it is my duty. God has blessed me beyond my expectations and therefore I do what I do. Each and everytime I see a Kevin Granger, Kevin Adams, Oliver Celestine, Dwyla Fisher, Wanda Adams, Chris Leblanc it validates that what I have done and will do in the future is making a difference. Some say it is what it is, if you have a difference of opinion then fugg you. Then ask why so many say fugg you when the crying about financial support.
This thread is a perfect example why so many alums graduate and never look back.
Folks will lol if you say something about their pastor, but you bet not say ish about their A.D. For some reason I find this strange.

We simply have different mindsets & beliefs. That is the good thing abt America, we are free to live and do as we please.
Most people that do not give back would not give back no matter what the circumstance. It simply is just not in our nature.
Some people like wool over their eyes. They will tell you it better than blue blockers.Haywood has had everyone fooled since he "almost" beat PV in 2016 with the Sr. heavy team.... People are finally starting to pull the wool from their eyes.
