No, he means hire a white guy. Yeah, I guess that’s answer huh? White must be right because one white guy won two titles in four seasons at Alcorn before going home. Poor McNair.
I knew that I was just stringing it along.

Lol. I know you did. I just wanted to spicy it up quickly.I knew that I was just stringing it along.
I hope I live to see the day when we quit being scared of hiring white folk to produce for our athletic programs.
2nd. Cole was already there when McClelland was hired. Remember Cole was interim AD when he did most of his dirt. But Isn't this like the 3rd football coach mcclelland has hired while At TSU? And why have y'all turned on BBVA?
Might want to wait on this. If the Tards, get to place a justice they will make abortions illegal.Movie Script, Johnny Cole returns, wins swac against Fobbs and TSU alums and players hoist JC in celebration. Show of hands in favor. Not everyone at once. Yall know with JC we will score some points.
It has nothing to do with being scared my brutha. It has everything to do with pride. I don’t have anything against hiring white coaches or administrators, but I refuse to act like hiring a white person is “the answer”. We don’t see PWI’s lining up to hire black coaches or black administrators because they are “the answer”. It happens every blue moon and most of the time when the word “desperation” kicks in. If you don’t believe it, just pay attention to the types of HC jobs we get offered on the FBS level.
We have to stop making white folks believe they are superior. It’s the black man who is the majority on the field and making great plays. If anything, there should be more black coaches on the sidelines than white coaches from the SEC to the Ivy League. It’s the black coaches who can get out there and coach kids at positions that they once shined in when they were playing at a high level. You aren’t about to find us 1 white WR coach who can still get out on the practice field and run a great route and make a spectacular grab in order to show a young WR how it is done.
In a sense, it has to do with opportunities. But PWIs are hiring black head coaches at a higher pace than HBCUs hiring white ones though...

Hell, the SEC alone has hired more black HCs than the SWAC has hired white.
PWIs aint worried about pride because wins matter more than pride

Dude, that's totally incorrect. It has to do with opportunities.
Black coaches comprise less than 18 percent of head coaches on the FBS level even though player rosters are 70 percent Black. That wreaks of pride.
So you're going to give White coaches even MORE opportunities while qualified Black coaches are left out in the cold?
Besides, there are only 20 Black coaches on the FCS level in HBCU.
That's nothing when one looks at the total number of coaches in all of FBS and FCS football which is 259.
If it wasn't for HBCU football, the number of Black coaches would be even fewer.
I understand what you are saying, and your points are well taken. So what do HBCU's do? The black coaches that HBCUs hire, we complain, complain, complain. I am not saying hire coaches just because they are white. Hell no. Just explore all options.
