Men's Basketball Too Early SWAC Rosters/Predictions



We have a couple former 4 star guys who sat out last year if eligible they could help the GSU Tigers. Also our leading scorer decided to come back for his 6th year. I am not getting my hopes up just yet, but this will be Coach Jackson best team yet on paper.
 
I read somewhere that it'll be easier for the SWAC to be a basketball powerhouse than a football one and I agree. I wish someone makes an amazing basketball hire to get that ball rolling! We need a basketball coach equivalent of Coach Prime to actually shift the culture and snag the top recruits.

We have great coaches in the SWAC but none have the star power to pull top recruits.

I think Ashley Robinson's hire of Mo was more motivated by Mo's NBA resume than by his success as a hardwood head coach. I'm sure that Ashley is hopeful the "Deion effect" rubs off on Mo and inspires him to new heights.

More than anything, they were high school team mates.
