Men's Basketball Too Early SWAC Rosters/Predictions

No disrespect but I just don’t see it with JSU. McKinnis was the best defensive player in the SWAC and he ain’t coming back. JSU struggled to produce offense with him. Gabe Watson and Trace Young is an ok duo but Mo hasn’t proved to be a good coach.

Texas Southern and Alcorn State will be the top contenders. With Jackson State and Southern as strong possibles.

Read what you just said. "He was the best defensive player in the Swac". What does that have to do with producing offense in the Swac. Furthermore you don't know our roster well enough to have a true opinion just as you stated gram is still bringing in players. We've brought in about 15 new guys (a bunch of former 3⭐️'s and Dandy dozens). We got way more than Young and Gabe.

Something me and my Mentor I was talking about while looking at rosters. He was a very successful college coach. We were amazed at the players on these SWAC rosters. The players do not mark these rosters. But what do we know?

I guess you mean when you beat Southern or grambling in any sport you're on your way, I guess.

Actually we beat Southern and grambling all the time in sports [hence y'all being a middle of the pack commissioners cup athletic department for almost a decade]. The point is clear so I'm not sure why you're acting confused. The only folks that have an issue with Mo on this thread are the Louisiana folks. Ironically he just so happened to kick both of their arses last year.

Mo Williams former NBA Champion wasn’t a good head coach at ASU. Harold Jackson great NFL Player terrible coach at Benedict and even worse at Jackson St. I see a lot of similarities.
I think Ashley Robinson's hire of Mo was more motivated by Mo's NBA resume than by his success as a hardwood head coach. I'm sure that Ashley is hopeful the "Deion effect" rubs off on Mo and inspires him to new heights.

You are missing a couple of bigs for Bama State.

JSU added Jayme Mitchell (Bama State Transfer)

He let his players play streetball on offense and sucked at adjustments during the game
