And he walked on at LSU did he have an offer from southern?
That will never happen again. You're deflecting obviously because lasted I checked JSU is the only school hiring unqualified hookups to lead their schools team
Yet they want safe spaces on these campuses. Lol Amazing!
It's not about all that and as far as I know he wasn't some so-called 4-5 star recruits. It's about getting our own alumni to direct their children back to where it was all made possible for them to even have what their parents give them.
So let's not go all into the extreme about this. I'm simply saying we have to do a better job of it.
Hell when you have children going to a school knowing they are pretty much going to sit their ass on the bench for the most part because the depth chart is so deep, I'm sorry but that a serious lack of self worth and we need to handle that.
So basically, the kid should've chosen SU by default just because that's where his dad played.
We had and all SWAC receiver George Farmer. His son ended up going to USC. You have to let your kids make their own decisions. Trust me on this one, George was bigger in the SWAC and S.U. than Sean and started his rookie year in the NFL.
George Farmer was also born in Los Angeles. I remember him at SU, and the Jags had a number of California players in the team around his time there.
Could you blame him not wanting to follow his Dad to his alma mater when he is considered maybe the greatest ever to run at JSU? Man that is some pressure. I remember Peyton Manning saying that about going to Ole Piss.
Now he could have looked at another HBCU. Robert Brazile son ended up at Grambling I believe.
Not to pick on you but this is a prime example of our mindset where we expect that hbcu's have to give an arm and a leg (figure of speech) to recruit that wasn't even looked at let alone offered anything at all. And it directly speaks to their mindset about their own worth.
We have to break this type of mental slavery
I mean, if his pop played at SU, and they didn't offer him a scholarship, what do you expect? I agree with you, but we have to break these kids out of the "PWI is better" mentality. Until then, they run to wherever the money is.
You're just confirming the point I'm making. We kiss their ass to eat their shit but expect hbcu's to GIVE you something you clearly didn't earn.
In Sean's defense, the young man has another parent. And most of the time that other parent has more to say about which school their child should attend than the other parent. Ain't that's right @DallasCowboyGirl??? LMAO!!!!!
Well if you're paying his way at either school why not push your alma mater? You mean like how you expect this kid to go to an HBCU because his daddy went to one?
