It's not an obsession with LSU thing. The obsession with LSU on this board is baffling.
It's not an obsession with LSU thing.
It's another example of HBCU stars sending their kids to PWIs instead of back to HBCUs

So what are HBCU going to do?
Can't keep crying forever. Where is the change of the culture for these schools to attract kids?
When do we stop hiring our unqualified kinfolk, side chicks, frats, soros & Pookie at the school? When do we get someone who sees the issue and does something versus crying about it.
All these kids and alum and no one can make a dvd about these schools to send out to recruit and high schools? No one can update these websites beyond 1998? Some of this can be done without spending money.
We had and all SWAC receiver George Farmer. His son ended up going to USC. You have to let your kids make their own decisions. Trust me on this one, George was bigger in the SWAC and S.U. than Sean and started his rookie year in the NFL.
It's not so much that JROCK because their children are their children. My point is we need to find a way to break this trend. Most people don't see this for what it is another form of gentrification.
Having said that we're the only race that says this shit and are the least able to afford it if we want to save our culture and heritage.
So im curious, if i'm a top recruit in Louisiana, sell me on picking SU over LSU. Without the "we'll treat you like family or you'll get to play immediately" logic.

The mistake that you're making is in the belief that everyone has the same values in our race. Ask yourself why there are no black hotels to speak of for the most part or why your people will buy from a white, arab or asian grocer and not a black. Don't shoot the messenger.
In Sean's defense, the young man has another parent. And most of the time that other parent has more to say about which school their child should attend than the other parent. Ain't that's right @DallasCowboyGirl??? LMAO!!!!!
lol...We can't even keep kids for the most part from S.U. Lab H.S high profile athletes from going to LSU.
Hell no he ain't even on scholarship!!! He's not even a preferred walk on.Is he even on the 2-deep?
Not the case at all this was all Sean's doing...In Sean's defense, the young man has another parent. And most of the time that other parent has more to say about which school their child should attend than the other parent. Ain't that's right @DallasCowboyGirl??? LMAO!!!!!
Blue here's my problem with this one example... If it wasn't for his father beg borrowing and pleading to get this young man on as walk on... He wouldn't be at LSU, Sean works for CT the third you do the math... This young man has yet to leave the state of Louisiana in a LSU football uniform. It's not about all that and as far as I know he wasn't some so-called 4-5 star recruits. It's about getting our own alumni to direct their children back to where it was all made possible for them to even have what their parents give them.
So let's not go all into the extreme about this. I'm simply saying we have to do a better job of it.
Hell when you have children going to a school knowing they are pretty much going to sit their ass on the bench for the most part because the depth chart is so deep, I'm sorry but that a serious lack of self worth and we need to handle that.
