I will leave the “white savior†alone since it breaks you black folk heart to hear somebody criticize the Landrieu name. Again I don’t live in New Orleans and I am not a Democrat. The problem I have with Landrieu, I have stated I don’t like the Landrieu name. But Landrieu being mayor is not my biggest problem. The title of this thread is “Landrieu is first White mayor of New Orleans in 32 years.†Like that is a good thing. So what’s next the black folks in New Orleans are going to be in the streets dancing when they see the confederate flag? I have not seen one of those in a long time either but I am not going to be jumping for joy when I do. So the black folks in New Orleans need the white man to come in and straighten things out because black folks can’t do it on they own. That is what Mary Landrieu said when she and Cleo Fields were running for that senate seat a few years back. That is a big problem to me. But I do want you to tell me in six months what is different about New Orleans than before and be specific with no political spin. I am very curious to hear your answer.
Nobody in this entire thread has said any of this except you. :smh:
Oh well.
I don't live there so none of this affect's me. :lecture:
moving on.
