Joe Biden & Bernie Sanders Secured $72M For Holocaust Survivors Yet Oppose Reparations For Slavery

not going to take the bait and say something negative about your friends. ur loyal, can give u that much. I responded to the comment. if u have something specific to say please do or hit ignore on my post. that'll suit me fine as well.

I don't even vote Republican. The reason black people wanted to vote in first place was to have a say in the local elections. But, somehow, we shifted all our loyalties to The Democratic Party, and have nothing to show for it.

Who is the first individual to be foreclosed/evicted? Black women.

Who still have health inequalities issues?

Who neighborhoods are under siege by Pookie and Ray-Ray?

Who are you preaching to? who is it you think isn't voting in local elections? I hope we all get on ballotpedia to figure out who these people are that are asking for our votes. I just voted in primaries here in SC and voted for the black dem woman for gov (didn't win), black woman for state senate( lost ) and black man for state superintendent of education (didn't win). I've voted for republicans several times in local races b/c they were the better more experienced candidate. Today the test is do you actually believe in democracy, then we can move on to other issues if the answer to that question is yes.

A half-century ago, Black politics was about Black movements outside the two-party system framework. It was Black people debating with each other about which way to go -- where do we go from here, what do we call ourselves -- and what kind of society do we want and what are the terms of our engagement with the larger society. Today, we are consumed by "who" is on the ballot instead of "what" is on the ballot. The criticism of the democratic party (and that of the republican party, too) is that they function on the whims of the oligarchs in America, which is why we don't get the equity we seek.

Neither party has the best interest of Black people at heart (I think most people on this message board understand that) What wireman and levarg failed to acknowledge is that Black people largely only support the democratic party because the GOP is openly hostile to minorities and their interests at every level of government.

We see this through gerrymandering, redlining, attacking CRT, banning abortion, going after LGBTQ rights, voting rights, and the way in which the party representatives left Black people vulnerable during COVID. Black people vote democrat, believing the party will do less harm to them despite all the party's faults and failures, because of the need to have someone (or several people in office) who will represent their interests.

What we as a collective must do is support movements and initiatives that lead to the improvement of our material needs and our liberation. That should be the only barometer when becoming involved in politics. Anything that falls short of that, we shouldn't invest our time, money, and energy in.

But the document might be most revealing in its treatment of voting and democracy. It declares President Biden was “not legitimately elected” in 2020. It says Biden’s win was tainted by voting in swing-state cities, furthering a GOP trend toward more explicitly declaring votes in urban centers illegitimate.

It urgently warns that Republicans must vote in high numbers in November 2022 to “overwhelm any possible fraud.” And notably, it calls for repeal of the Voting Rights Act of 1965

The Constitution was created to protect the rich from the poor. Through the triangle trade the rich, whether in the north or south, were made rich based on slavery (the south produced the raw products that would be manufactured in the north and sold in Europe). The only way they can keep their power is by keeping the poor and melanated divided as well divide the melenated within itself. This the only way the minority on the planet, from the most resource deprived part of the planet, can control the masses of the planet.

This is why they want us to hate history and math in school.

I didn't mention clyburn. I said marcel got mollywhopped. I want repartitions too but I'm also smart enough to know how the game is played. One thing I will not condone is dragging other black folks in public. that's part of my problem w/ what will smith did. I'm not doing the white folks work for them.

now for clyburn, since U brought him up, exactly how did they have to work overtime and he got over 90% of the vote?🤔 I don't teach math anymore but I did pass the classes. he crushed the 2 people that challenged him. C. R. U. S. H. E. D. btw... I don't eat fish or seafood. I'm allergic.

This is my problem w/ u and ur friend that disappear when the news is bad for y'alls viewpoint.... clyburn is not my rep. I live in district 3 where i have jeff duncan(r) as my congressional rep. ask what he's done for my people in his district. go ahead and ask, but u already know the answer. you don't drag those folks but you can't get clyburn name out your mouth. have u posted about the terrible leadership of kay ivey and mo brooks? I don't recall that ever but maybe I missed it. what have they done for your people in my home state?

now that y'all are back why don't u tell us how great them other folks were in their response to Uvalde and how u support their efforts to cover everything up and make sure no meaningful legislation regarding gun responsibility comes to pass.
First this is a red herring you know damn well I'm not talking about you in particular and I have explained this over and over and tired of beating a dead horse at this point if you still want to do the what about this person deflection while the other person who you think is your friend has a knife in your back that's fine just keep voting for them and hope for the best.

Now you mention Uvalde. Though it's terrible that happened and you are concerned about it which any sensible person should be. At the same time this just shows the lack of self value we have in ourselves. Buffalo New York you had 10 black folks murdered in cold blood by a racist. The concept of being B1 is take care of your issues before you put on the cape for everyone else. This is why we constantly fail. We have to cape for gays, we cape for white women, we cape for Illegal immigrants, we use the stupid terms like "black and brown" then when we bring our concerns to our great liberal allies they tell us to wait your turn and we start becoming black apologist and shut up and sit in the corner because the white liberal told us to.

Now Jim Crow Joe have passed every single executive order to protect everyone else and we got no hate crime bill. You say how the game is played right. Well if you have been playing it the exact same way our people have been doing for 60 years and know you wont get a damn thing what prize have you won? What tangible substantive thing you gained from playing this game? These democrats hate you so bad you don't even get a participation trophy in this game. Instead you get toss away until they need you the next election.

There was no need for Biden to pass a hate crime bill for Black people because those already exist. One is called The Shepard Byrd Act, passed in 2009 by Congress and signed into law by Obama. And then there was Title I of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 signed by LBJ, the first of its kind hate crime law in America.

Like it or not, we have a 2 party system. If you say don't vote for this one, then that leaves 2 choices, vote for the other (gop) that wants to make america great again, like it was when u black people knew your place, or 2... don't vote. I can not in good conscience give up my vote. My ancestors were denied a political voice and I'll be Got Da*n if I give up my vote, & I'm certainly not voting for people who absolutely hate me. Local elections I'll evaluate then individually but nationally they've told us who they are & I believe them!

As for Ovalde, I'm crazy because I actually try to do what the bible says. I'm a teacher, I love on my students be they black, white, hispanic, asian, gay, straight, transgender. none of it matters. I don't agree with a lot of their choices, but it's not my job to say or condemn them. My job is #1 to teach them per the state of SC and #2 be a living example of Christian manhood. So yeah, I go to bat for them because Jesus went to and still goes to bat for me & I really don't care what anyone thinks about it, even if they went to the greatest academic institution the world has ever seen.

And yet the democrats had to work overtime to get Clyburn in. Those folks in his district that voted for him are getting what they deserve, rampant poverty, poor healthcare and kids that can't read just like Bennie Thompson district. Clyburn had to spend 2 million for the first time in 30 years that's a win on us because we make them work. The democrats was so scared brought down Kamala and other boule clowns to so step shows and fry more fish to talk about collard greens. And that's all it took to get the vote. Isn't that sad. I mean really just think about it. Your celebrating Clyburn winning and your people are still in shit. But hey you got some some catfish though.
You do realize that the Democratic party fought for health insurance and the Republican party is who said it was free loading. Come on dude. It's ok to say that the other party is messed up, but to tell lies is wrong. You and I know the Republican party has fought against education and health care for black people for decades. No way you could have been born in the south and deny that. No way.

Don't see Democrats

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is standing by his decision to not order a supply of COVID vaccines for children under 5.

"We are not going to have any programs where we're trying to jab 6-month-old babies with mRNA," DeSantis said during a press conference Monday. "We still have not ordered it. We're not going to order it."

Florida is the only state that did not pre-order COVID vaccines for children as young as six months old prior to the Food and Drug Administration's authorization last week. DeSantis claimed there's a lack of evidence to support the need for healthy children to receive vaccines.

Medical People had to beg to be able to order it on their own.

The measure asks state lawmakers to pass a bill in its next session "requiring a referendum in the 2023 general election for the people of Texas to determine whether or not the state of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation."

This is what Republicans are doing despite what we went through in Texas last year. Trying to leave the Union, control women and ban black history.

You guys are either purposely doing this or are naive.

Most can see what's going on here. Attack democrats but remain silent about how republicans are doing even worse because the goal is to keep you folks who vote for democrats from voting.

You think Herschel is running for senator to get you reparations? Does Clarence Thomas support reparations? Is Tim Scott sponsoring a reparations bill? Where are the videos about that?

Criticize all politicians...not just democrats.
Those are very good questions. Here are my answers to them-NO, NO, and NO!

I remember when Clarence Thomas was the head of EEOC. He did not believe in affirmative action then. He does not even believe in it now. He happens to be from the same city, Savannah, Georgia, where Amelia Boynton Robinson was born and raised. She marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge on Bloody Sunday. Justice Thomas voting to end pre-clearance on the Voting Rights Act.

Herschel Walker to my understand did not join in the marches in 1980 against the sheriff of Johnson County, Georgia, where he was raised. It was headline news after he committed to Georgia.

Tim Scott is Tim Scott.

What you said made total sense. However, as you can see smart talk always fall on deaf ears especially to the politically remedial. Let me give you a profile of what you are talking too. Meet Miss Deloris she was born in between 1953 to 1970. They marched up and down the street not really for equal rights but for white access. She and her ilk wanted to go to their school, shit next to them in their bathrooms, sit in their restaurants to catch ass whooping's and access to their bed and after this happened this was all they needed. She was told voting would solve all her problems and she sees the lack of return in that investment but as you know with our people, she used the typical mental gymnastics to justify the madness. Nevertheless, she holds firm to her faith that the democrats will make a way and in her genius she keep voting hoping its going to get better one day. If anyone dares to challenge that she will go ape shit on your ass with all the name calling and shaming. Yet all that energy doesn't seem to go to the people she keep voting for over and over again. She sees everyone but her community is getting tangibles but she will give us a list of excuses like

"Well they can't do everything for black people"
" Well he ain't the president just for black people"
" Well if you don't vote you will never get it so just keep voting"
" But what about the Republicans if they get in weeees gone be in trouble"
" Don't yawl negros come around here kicking up dust these are good white folks you don't need tangibles these white liberals loving on us is all weees need"
"Well tell me the solution ….. (solution recommended but it goes over their head) What!!!!! dem ni**a's talking about not voting they must be out their minds oh Lordy have murcy we need the prayer warriors. See they don't have a solution let's keep voting democrat and sing we shall overcome again this year, they gone hear us one day.

In addition to Deloris's excuses for poor voting and life choices. She lives in a district with poor water, schools, Pookie and Ray Ray fucking everything up, and all kinds of bad infrastructure but this is normal to her and she is ok with it as long as she has Zaddy Democrat and White Jesus you cant tell her nothing. Also, she is determined to continue the cycle of disfunction by teaching her kids the same foolishness. Of course she is a single mother (what a surprise) because she took the bait liberals use to divide the black man and the black woman with this strong and independent and don't need a man crap.

She went to a high school that is still segregated (even after all that damn voting) just to learn the basics and her kids are going there too. While in the more affluent districts other high schools are learning about assets, home ownership, Job trades, and financial literacy. In her district her kids are learning about social programs and how to get on section 8, not get married to get public assistance and how to commit paternity fraud to get child support. If you go beyond that great expectation or say something is wrong with that you are a sellout and will be shunned from the community.

And she is an HBCU grad whenever she go back to homecoming the school looks exactly the same when she graduated 30 years ago (They may add one building and in her mind that great progress but its still behind the times) but the congressman that is over the district only comes around when it time for reelection.

Congressman boule porkchop is a member of a fraternity and he leverage that to get votes and Deloris and her ilk is blown away by just that. No policy needed at all. Congressman Boule Porkchop knows it wont be that hard to get the black vote all he has to do is equate the word conservative to the word racist to make black folks scared and at the same time they take the word liberal and link it to the word ally to make black folks to feel safe and he also has to fry fish sometime he will get pan trout too. I don't know what is but fish will close a business deal for the boule black community you don't have to read any terms on negotiate anything the boule will ask for the dotted line. Now Boule porkchop also have other constituents too. Well he is not bringing shrimp fried rice to Asians he is bringing them policy and tangibles, He's not bringing Enchiladas to Hispanics he is bringing policy and tangibles, He is certainly not bringing Frappuccino's to white liberals he is making sure they get their abortions, non reproductive sex agenda and hugging on trees policies for them. But somehow you are the fool to speak on this in your community.

This is why the new strategy should be to talk past these skee wee boule old people and talk to the next generation. This generation is done they are failures they danced and slept away their time and youth and their kids are left with nothing but a bad example to follow but they are young enough to be convinced to hold these politicians accountable. As you can see the younger people want tangibles for their vote this generation just want butter biscuits and Fish.

You left the Black college educated and also Black men outta your example. And most young folk are just as lost as their parents and grandparents.

It doesn’t matter now anyway, Claude Anderson told us we had until about 2012 to make some serious changes or we’d be the permanent underclass in this country, and we haven’t. Most of us don’t even realize how over it is, and they show that by still talking about “holding these politicians accountable” and going on about tangibles.

When Latinos overtook us as the largest minority voting demographic that pretty much marked the end of Black people on the political stage in any serious electoral sense. We’ve been hardheaded and now we’re gonna pay the price for it. We’ve been paying the price but it’s gonna get worse.

It is not just White and Black women who are angry. This will negatively affect Black, poor, and other women of color more than middle class White women.

I am curious about those MAGA women who supported Trump and vote republican but do not like this ruling.

I wonder how does Maine's Susan Collins feels.

As long as this country has as its foundation, " one person, one vote" everyone's vote is powerful. We don't understand that power because far too many of us fall into the trap that we shouldn't like nor learn from history (civics/government) and Math. Democratic power is nothing without the Black vote, but it is time that vote is respected.
