How do a Role player like Shaq get not 1 not 2 but 3 finals MVP!!!!!...

That means Shaq was the CARRIER of the Lakers all 3 times Kobe tagged along and got his rings...

Dude, you really can't compare these three because EACH of them play/played a different position on the court, meaning different responsibilities.

That's like asking who's better? Jerry Rice, Doug Williams or Aeneas Williams?

He wanted all the credit for those six championships knowning darn well he would not have rings if Rod Thorn did not draft M.J. in 1984. Krause was hell bent on trying to win a championship without being tied to the Jordan and Jackson legacy for years.

Secondly you said that it took the Bulls 4 years to win a championship after getting Pippen. No it didnt. It took the NBA 4 years to change all the rules to make it easier for Jordan to go to the lane and score at ease in the playoffs. Thats when those crappy intentional foul calls came into play opening the lane up for Jordan.

Also using your theory, the Lakers have 2.5 more years to win a championship since it took the Bulls 4 years. The Lakers just got Gasol 1.5 years ago. BTW...the Lakers were in first place last year when they got Gasol.

Without Shaq, Kobe has still managed to make it to the playoffs every year even when he had subpar help in the toughest conference. Last year his team went into the playoffs with the best record in the West just like this year.

Shaq has destroyed two teams as the main man on the team. Without a twoguard he is useless. Shaq is over rated and cant perform without a twoguard that can make midrange jumpers like Wade and Kobe. He clogs the lane and no one but him can go in. Ask Steve Nash.....

Kobe had NO muscle down low last year and still he managed to win 2 games and even lost a 20 point lead to the Celtics. If Kobe had ANY help on the boards last year, he wins another championship. I hate the fact that Mbenga is not on the playoff roster again this year.

Kobe is just now getting the help he needs, yet it STILL doesn't equate to the help Shaq had while at Miami. As a matter of fact, Wade carried the Heat to the championship just in case you forgot.

As soon as Shaq left the Fakers starring the Cry baby.. he promised the City of Miami a ring (He never breaks a promise unlike Kobe did with his wife.. he need to take notes from Shaq).. He lead Miami to the 2nd best record in the entire NBA.. while the Shaqless Fakers sat home in the post season for the very first time in 11 years.. that was horrible....That dayum Kobe... Lebron would have loved to take that same team to the play-offs as he easily did with that scrub team he had the same year...

Not many folks are claiming Pippen to be the best small FORWARD in the history of the NBA.. He was good though.. But many are claiming SHAQ to be the best CENTER to ever played the game.. Please correct him, so he can stop making this comparison. Thanks in advance.

Jordan ain't NEED Pippen... many folk in the NBA during that time could have filled that role easily...

BOTH. Pippen was the HELP Jordan was clamoring about and Phil was the help he needed on the bench to allow for him to do anything he wanted to do on the court and off the court.

You brought up Ewing, I didn't. Olajuwon in his prime would kill Shaq on offense AND defense. He will be the "go-to" player in the FOURTH quarter as well. Shaq ain't jack in close games.:lol: How can you be great yet be on the bench in clutch moments in the fourth quarter?:lol:

I spoke to a reporter who covered the Chicago Bulls in Jordan's first few years on the squad. Yes Jordan was a ball hog and punched his teammates, but did not fight fans. Again, making stuff up. The reporter told me he hogged the ball because his teammates sucked. That is why.

Quintin Dailey, Orlando Woolridge, Dave Corzine, Ennis Whatley, Dave Greenwood and Steve Johnson were his teammates. Bad all around.

When Jordan passed them the ball they would not give it back to him with game on the line even though he was clearly the best player on the team.

From that point Jordan no longer trusted his teammates completely until the Bulls reached the Finals in 1991.

Aint it ironic how when Kobe scored 81 on Toronto, he was called a ball hawk. But folks forget that the Lakers were losing by 19 when Kobe went off. So when Jordan stops passing the ball to Woolridge and Corzine, he is showing leadership. But when Kobe stopped passing the ball to Kwame Brown and Smush Parker, he is selfish?

Most people are influenced by the media and dont use their own minds. Kobe would drive the lane and kick it out to Brian Cook who of course would miss the shot (sorry ass from Illnois). What do yall want this guy to do? He is damned if he does and he is damned if he doesnt.

You summed it up. Hate him but to sit here and call they guy a Looser is shameful and full of hate. I hate the Detroit Pistons as an organization as well as Boston but I will give a player credit if he is good or great. Kobe could pass all day and the Lakers loose and now he didn't take enough shots. Or he can take a lot of shots and win and they selfish.
We had some sorry players between the Shaq departure and now. Everyone forgets how the bulls reloaded when Mike returned. And to say they win without Scottie is a lie. Shoot Scottie got cheated out of the finals by the refs in New York.

But you guys continue to respond to trp96. He is a hater or the greatest degree.

LOL don't let those games yesterday fool you. They called the games in the Jazz favor and they still lost. What will happen when the Lakers actually get some calls deeper in the playoffs. Sterns wants Lakers and Cavs and he will get it.

That was my next point. The league was so bad when Jordan played that the Bulls were a bad ref call away from making it back to the finals while Jordan was suspended. That was a good team and they probably would have made it back to the finals the next year if Jordan hadnt returned to mess the team up.

You are not going to get these folks to be unbiased. You have to realize that the ones doing all the screaming barely remember Jordan playing. They were in the bed by 9 pm in the early 90s. Jordan was great, one of the greatest, but he was David Sterns boy and the only face of the NBA at the time. Besides punishing him for point shaving, Stern was not going to let the NBA finals be without Jordan.
