Who has more rings Shaq or Kobe?
Robert Horry. Whose the better player of the three? Kobe Bryant!!!
It's really irrelevant now cause Kobe is the ONLY player still standing right now. Shaq's at home WATCHING Kobe.

1. People act like the Bulls started to win championships as soon as Scottie Pippen arrived in Chicago. That is not true. Jordan and Pippen did not win a championship until their fourth season together. Mike retired in 1993 and the Bulls did not win another three titles until Mike came back.
Jordan retired in 1998 and Pip went to Portland and Houston and Chicago again. However, when Jordan came back with Washington he was 40 and just was ballin' knowning he was not going to win a title. By that time, Pippen was past his prime as well.
Kobe stayed with the Lakers and has not won a championship since Shaq left. Shaq has. In fact, Orlando has not been back to the NBA Finals or even the Eastern Conference Finals since Shaq left 13 years ago.
The comparison with Jordan not winning a title without Pippen and Kobe not winning a title without Shaq is comparing apples to oranges.
2. Jordan did not make threats to leave because he did not have enough help. I don't know where you got that from. Nobody in the whole organization liked Jerry Krause except Jerry Reindorf. Krause tried to undermind and discredit Jordan, Jackson and Pippen. That is why Jordan left in 1998.
He wanted all the credit for those six championships knowning darn well he would not have rings if Rod Thorn did not draft M.J. in 1984. Krause was hell bent on trying to win a championship without being tied to the Jordan and Jackson legacy for years.
Kendrick....debating with you is so easy cause you give your opponent so much material to respond with. First of all, Jordan did not retire in 93, he was suspended for point shaving.
Secondly you said that it took the Bulls 4 years to win a championship after getting Pippen. No it didnt. It took the NBA 4 years to change all the rules to make it easier for Jordan to go to the lane and score at ease in the playoffs. Thats when those crappy intentional foul calls came into play opening the lane up for Jordan.
Also using your theory, the Lakers have 2.5 more years to win a championship since it took the Bulls 4 years. The Lakers just got Gasol 1.5 years ago. BTW...the Lakers were in first place last year when they got Gasol.
Without Shaq, Kobe has still managed to make it to the playoffs every year even when he had subpar help in the toughest conference. Last year his team went into the playoffs with the best record in the West just like this year.
Shaq has destroyed two teams as the main man on the team. Without a twoguard he is useless. Shaq is over rated and cant perform without a twoguard that can make midrange jumpers like Wade and Kobe. He clogs the lane and no one but him can go in. Ask Steve Nash.....
Kobe had NO muscle down low last year and still he managed to win 2 games and even lost a 20 point lead to the Celtics. If Kobe had ANY help on the boards last year, he wins another championship. I hate the fact that Mbenga is not on the playoff roster again this year.
Last year if Kobe has Eric Dampier, Theo Ratliff, Nene, or anybody who's a man...the Lakers win it all.
Dude, this just shows your lack of knowledge about your own team. Jordan did threaten to leave the Bulls if Krause didn't keep coach Jackson and Pippen, because they were thinking about it when they got Tony Kukoc. The media just didn't focus on his negative activities as much back then.
And how can you not talk about Jordan and Pippen, yet still single out Kobe and Shaq?
The fact of the matter is that Jordan didn't win ONE ring without Pippen, not one, irregardless of what happened before, during or after.
And for you to compare the help Kobe had after Shaq left versus the help Shaq had with Wade and Miami is comparing apples to oranges and highly laughable. Kobe is just now getting the help he needs, yet it STILL doesn't equate to the help Shaq had while at Miami. As a matter of fact, Wade carried the Heat to the championship just in case you forgot.
If Kobe and Wade were on the same team, they'd have at least two rings, so in essence, Shaq underachieved in Miami.
How is this:
You DO remember the days when Jordan threatened to leave the Bulls if Krause didn't get him more help don't you?
The same as this:
Jordan did threaten to leave the Bulls if Krause didn't keep coach Jackson and Pippen, because they were thinking about it when they got Tony Kukoc.
Do you even read what you type?
So, did Mike threaten to leave because Krause did not give him more help or because he was forcing Phil and Scottie out?

You from Chicago man, please tell this dude Pippen is no DAYUM SHAQ!!!
Not many folks are claiming Pippen to be the best small FORWARD in the history of the NBA.. He was good though.. But many are claiming SHAQ to be the best CENTER to ever played the game.. Please correct him, so he can stop making this comparison. Thanks in advance.
Jordan ain't NEED Pippen... many folk in the NBA during that time could have filled that role easily...
Oh you have to excues Jayrob... dude is delusional when it comes to sports...
He is trying to make is seem like Jordan did the same as Kobe...
He so dumb to realize for Kobe cried for help because he couldn't be a true leader and MAN and deal with the hand he was dealt(players) Jordan stood up like a man and defended his coach and team-mate..
Kobe betrayed and ratted on his team-mate.. You see the difference here...
Jordan - WINNER
Kobe - LOSER
Dude, you just type just to type. What MANY people are claiming Shaq as the best center of all time? LOL!! Hell Akeem Olajuwon dominated him in the playoffs. I'd take Akeem over Shaq almost any day.
If Jordan didn't need Pippen, why did he cry for Pippen to stay?
Some forget how Jordan started his career. He was a ball hog who started fights, punched his own teammates, fought other players and fought fans.
In time he matured and became the all around player he is remembered by, but don't let hate and shame cloud what actually happened during his career. Jordan was no choir boy by a longshot.
MANY credible reporter, journalist and ex-players and current players... YOU don't count dude...
So you are saying Olajuwon was more DOMINATE than SHAQ? I guess you are going to say Ewing was more dominate too huh? Even though he was a Foward, this is what your thinking would lead to...
Post your sources about the MANY!!
You brought up Ewing, I didn't. Olajuwon in his prime would kill Shaq on offense AND defense. He will be the "go-to" player in the FOURTH quarter as well. Shaq ain't jack in close games. How can you be great yet be on the bench in clutch moments in the fourth quarter?

I spoke to a reporter who covered the Chicago Bulls in Jordan's first few years on the squad. Yes Jordan was a ball hog and punched his teammates, but did not fight fans. Again, making stuff up. The reporter told me he hogged the ball because his teammates sucked. That is why.
Quintin Dailey, Orlando Woolridge, Dave Corzine, Ennis Whatley, Dave Greenwood and Steve Johnson were his teammates. Bad all around.
When Jordan passed them the ball they would not give it back to him with game on the line even though he was clearly the best player on the team.
From that point Jordan no longer trusted his teammates completely until the Bulls reached the Finals in 1991.

Aint it ironic how when Kobe scored 81 on Toronto, he was called a ball hawk. But folks forget that the Lakers were losing by 19 when Kobe went off. So when Jordan stops passing the ball to Woolridge and Corzine, he is showing leadership. But when Kobe stopped passing the ball to Kwame Brown and Smush Parker, he is selfish?
Most people are influenced by the media and dont use their own minds. Kobe would drive the lane and kick it out to Brian Cook who of course would miss the shot (sorry ass from Illnois). What do yall want this guy to do? He is damned if he does and he is damned if he doesnt.
Nobody has the ability to take over a game like him....but at this point in his career he chooses not to.
And Jayrob
Please dont argue with someone that thinks Shaq is a better center than The Dream.
Don't be surprised if...
...Kobe doesn't win the MVP(Reg season or finals).
...The Lakers don't make it to the Finals.
Not hate just stating some cold hard facts.
carry on...
You summed it up. Hate him but to sit here and call they guy a Looser is shameful and full of hate. I hate the Detroit Pistons as an organization as well as Boston but I will give a player credit if he is good or great. Kobe could pass all day and the Lakers loose and now he didn't take enough shots. Or he can take a lot of shots and win and they selfish.
We had some sorry players between the Shaq departure and now. Everyone forgets how the bulls reloaded when Mike returned. And to say they win with Scottie is a lie. Shoot Scottie got cheated out of the finals by the refs in New York.
But you guys continue to respond to trp96. He is a hater or the greatest degree.
