For the first time in a while, I loathe watching this product. I'm on record saying that they ran off Hunter 1 year too early

At least the Devilettes are somewhat competitive despite McKnight being out for most of the season. They'll be fun to watch next year

Getting dragged by 50 versus Alcorn is flat out pitiful. And his job is not in danger because he's basically a stooge for that dotard Briggs
 



Observation: SWAC Lady’s Basketball 🏀 Jackson State over sTu. Great game and college basketball environment. Props to the SWAC Digital Network-excellent broadcasting crew.
 
Our male basketball program has hit rock bottom. It's time for a change. We have had over 10-12 years of losing. AD Bryant it's time for a change. It he doesn't do it I'm finally going to get a Facebook page of not ever having one and start the campaign of doing it.

This use to be a capacity or near capacity game prior to COVID. I used to fly in from Philadelphia that weekend. I dont think its reach that since COVID. When they started Mobile game (my retirement year), that killed it for me. We were about to get 4 season tickets when we found out the ASU decided to withhold that information (THANK YOU AAMU for HONEST COMMUCATIONS) about the alternative sites for the game. We have not been to a game since.

Looking at the roster-the majority of the players are guys NOT recruited by the coach. 7 of the 9 he recruited out of high school are there. Two are you best players. His team is mainly the last guy's players and this is the last year for that group.

Also how did Donnie Marsh get hired with his record?
 
Just 3 games ago, the Devilettes held a tie breaker over PV

Now we are fighting for that 10th spot with ASU (they hold the tiebreaker (+4 point differential) so we gotta beat Alcorn on Thursday

No way … the girls game as empty on tv…. Bama State has struggled with basketball attendance all season… I thought the numbers would have been much higher for a rivalry game there.

That is 100% false… it’s not one person on the team he didnt recruit… it was 1 first semester but he stopped playing after he graduated in December. These are ALL of his players. There are NO players on the team from the previous coach.

A lot was going on yesterday. Remember, state championship games were being played in B’ham and were on state-wide PBS stations. Being season ticket holders, we elected to watch Park Crossing Girls and other talented teams play. Plus our games were on TV too. I agree the rivalry game has lost some of its appeal.

I wouldn’t say its lost its appeal…we just had a sold out 6600 game against Bama State here. That game was sold out 4 days before tip off. By looking on the SWAC website… looks like Bama State only averages 985 people a game in the Acadome this season.

AAMU believes in open communication. ASU decided to play I've got a secret, about the movement of the game. It has not been the same since.

The women side which had been the strength of the program play is down and disappointing. Whereas Madlock’s team appears to be a couple players away from being a good team.

Bama State girls are much better than their record… I know they are down players this year due to injuries and concussion protocol ….
