I think home court helped in our win. The officials were horrible but our ladies seemed more relaxed after the opening jitters wore off. La Tech outbid us for hosting Monday's game.

We were warned about officiating by La Tech fans we met at a restaurant before the game. They were right. Not saying the officiating was the reason our Lady Tigers loss (out rebounded and missed too many layups)...but officiating left a lot to be desired. Interestingly we arguably had the fewest turnovers in any game we played all season.

S.U. men beat them in Ruston this year. It may be the luck of the draw. I saw some officiating in the SWAC this year that had me besides myself.
