This is the poorest play call gamy I've seen! :redhot:

Gram and Hampton both sucked in playcalling. Somebody needs to get Brugene off the sidelines! :shame:

I would've went for the endzone! You haven't got the ball up high enough all game long. Why try a field goal? Go for the endzone and empty out the back field!

Dayum....:mad:
 
I think I would have rather them take a shot in the endzone, then to go for the FG. We don't have the best kicking game

:nod: Entirely huge coaching mistake! :shame: I'm not sure that Gram was thinking on the series before Hampton scored, but whoever was calling the plays needs to be fired!

I see Hampton really misses Fred Kaiss too! :what: I wonder what overtime will be like. I think Grambling is going to lose this because they can't make any field goals! :smh:

Special teams....the achilles heal for most SWAC teams! :smh: :mad:
 
On a side note, these refs freaking suck! They can't even announce the penalities right and the correct downs or infractions. :lol: :shame:

Man...this broadcast is really showing Amercia how far behind SWAC football really is! :mad:

3rd and goal from outside the 10 yard line. We blitz. It gets picked up (AGAIN) and they score. A zone defense would suffice. Give the young kid a lane to throw in and he will. This is embarrassing. They do the same thing over and over. Why can't they see they get burned only when they blitz.
 
The third down call by Grambling reminds me of when the Dallas Cowboys went for it (twice) on fourth down in Philly on the Dallas 29 yard line in '95. (There was a penalty on the Eagles.) Philadelphia won. John Madden lost his mind, and I thought that Jimmy Johnson was going to have a field day with Switzer on the post-game show.
 



Man, at that point in time I wish ya'll had our old kicker, Joseph Blanco. He would have made it. I think special teams is sorely lacking in the SWAC in general. It makes no sense for that boy to be a 50% fg kicker.
