I will say this yet again, blacks have been voting Democrat their entire lives and what has changed? Oh yeah, things have gotten worse. But here is what you Dems fail to realize, you can pimp your ideology about Republicans being the bad guy all you want to, but this younger generation aint hearing that. Will they start voting Republican.....hell no. But they will become apathetic and give up on the political process because they see no recourse, which in fact equals votes for the other side.

Dems had all three branches of govt., including the white house, yet it's still the Republicans fault. I will just comments on a few things.

Obama started to get some notoriety before the 2004 Democratic National Convention. If he was not a household name after the keynote speech, he was very well on his way the night of it.

I learned in school in Louisiana that one must be a naturalized born citizen to become president of the United States. I say that because there is a birther bill in the state.

I'm independent and don't believe that either party has a clue of how to help the poor period. Whether they are black or white or brown. You using terms like socialist is the same fear mongering that you accuse democrats of doing. Both parties strive off fear which is why republicans play the Muslim daddy and not born here card. Why democrats play the not caring for the middle or lower class card. Being a part of either party means you are "Borg" because both force you to assimilate obviously by you regurgitating the same rhetoric. Sorry but being republican doesn't make you special. You are just another cookie cutter crave out that uses the same talking points that every other black republican has prepared for them to defend their choice. "We freed the slaves" is the political equivalent to "I have black friends." Democrats are no better with their hand out politics but please save your spill. Your party has held the presidential spot for much longer so if you think they have some excuse in this matter you having been drinking too many mint juleps.

Any points I have used to describe my political affiliation have been to retort the other sides claims. Yet you wanna throw a rock and hide behind the I am an independent card. And for the record, I have not had a drink in 4 years, much less a mint juliep. Mabye if you had a couple, you might go ahead and "admit" where your voting record truly lies.

I also find it funny that you didn't point out the examples of failed Democrat leadership that plagues my community directly. The bottom line is this....you have two viable parties in this country. I am a conservative first and foremost, which is why I roll with the "R". I will upon occasion vote for a local "D", if I know them, but not on the national level. The last "D" I voted for was Clinton. I voted for Ralph Nader in lieu of Bush or Gore. I voted for Bush and McCain the last two elections respectively. My ultimate disdain politically is with Liberalism, which is why I can't roll with the D, due to the Loony Left.

With all that said, I am a Republican now due to my conservative values politically. Vote your values and convictions....I surely do.

Now go fill your Democrat bucket up and throw some more water our way. lol

There may be 5% of the voting population who are truly independent. If you voted for the same political party in the past two presidential elections, that's the party and ideology you have adopted. That does not make you an independent but a partisan regardless of what you may call yourself. Who on this board voted for Bush in 2004 and Obama in 2008? Be honest...I will be waiting for your response.

Dude, they prefer you to have one, but it is not required that you do. When I worked at MCID we had two women that were born in Moscow that had U.S. passports.

Please, you honestly believe these folks in the USA didn't research and research beyond the normal checks for a black man? :lol:

Dude, like I been saying for the 14th time now, they want him to show the damn thing and he won't do it! Now Chris Matthews is on his case about it now. Read those statutes I posted earlier, Obama gave a Certificate of Live birth which is not a birth certificate....I then explained the differences in the two. Again, I say show it and shut them mofos up!!

From the STATE DEPARTMENT website you need:

Previously issued, undamaged U.S. Passport

Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state*

Consular Report of Birth Abroad or Certification of Birth

Naturalization Certificate

Certificate of Citizenship

So technically you don't need a birth certificate, but you do need something OFFICIAL from the government.

And Mak... he has given/shown what he was given by the State of Hawaii...

Hawaiian officials have come out and said he was born in that state. They even have statements on their Health Department website specifically addressing the issue.

Heck even the Republican governor of Arizona vetoed their birther bill today.

lmao..You are right man. I find it VERY difficult to even understand the "educated" democratic folk.

I am more of a conservative mind... but it's only a few issues I can't stand with Republicans. Due to how this country was formed.. I do believe there is a need for affirmative action. Because with out it whites have the natural tendacy to look out for their own. I see it here at my job a good bit.. But out side of thatand the fact both parties had their hands in some kind of form of oppresion of blacks that kind of bothers me.

So I am independant. I had to damn near fight a black cat here for questioning me in front of the other FEW blacks on why I wasn't voting for Obama...smh

I told him I was voting for Ron Paul.. He ain't know who Ron Paul was... So I embarressed him by pointing out the simple fact, most of them were too ignorant to not even know ALL of the possible candidates on the ticket!

So the argument shifted.. I said If Ron Paul wasn't on the ticket I had no one to vote for so I wouldn't vote...

He brought up the usual line.."Our people faught for us to vote".. I told him "NO.. they fought for us to have the RIGHT to vote"....

Then I asked him.."If you had an option of voting for 2 things to eats or not vote and stick with what you already have in the fridge and the 2 pieces of food to vote for was not to your liking would you vote than eat one of them when you was already fine with what you had in the fridge?"

The fool told me.. How about you poor relatives? I said.. What about them? Fool said.. "Atleast vote for them"...LMAO

I told that clown.. "Dude you are fuged up in the head so many ways and your thinking is shared by a lot of lost people.. My poor relatives HAVE their right to vote..I told him, they are poor because of the democratic policies that enable them and make them NOT want to do shyt... and I know this because they said it! I will not vote to further this poor choice of living"...

For some sick reason.. a lot of blacks with degrees feel GUILTY for doing RIGHT and getting their life together.. And they feel voting for the POOR people is some kind of damn charity.
