Egggggzactly. We aren't married to any coach at JSU. If Woody switches qb's every down like he did in some games last year... we will for sure BE ON HIM ABOUT IT!

He signed a qb over Ohio State and Michigan.... ah, ... i think that's a decent days work.

I heard the same thing. :smh: Sad thing is.. .I can never enjoy beating the living sh*t out of Valley every single year after year after year, because 1. The world knows it's gonna happen .... 2. Devil's Gun Trigger Man is a friend of mine and he really in his heart of hearts believes they are gonna win every single year.

This is truly amazing stuff. I logged on this morning and decided to comment later and we are already at five pages. :smh: Why can't coalition members just wish the kid luck and move on? The Grambling QB thread only has 12 posts. :lmao:

As for Britt, he made a bold move not waiting on Michigan because after they lost Pryor, they needed a QB like him. And Pittsburgh also needed a QB and Britt was their second choice after Pryor. Thank goodness for Pryor. :swink:

Evaluation
Dewberry is an athletic playmaker at quarterback and is likely to make the move to safety or even running back at the college level. He has very good size and is a well built athlete with a nice combination of speed, elusiveness and quickness in the open field. He is a glider as a runner-- a very smooth athlete. He does a nice job in the read-option run game and is a much better runner than he is a passer. He is competent as a passer, but only in the short-to-intermediate passing game. He can be dangerous when things break down and he can get out on the perimeter and create plays as a dual-threat player. He can make people miss, he is quick and decisive in the pokcet and shows the initial burst and escapability to get out of trouble. Dewberry is not very sudden or explosive, he is more smooth. At times he doesn't look very fast, but he does possess good straightlined speed. He will have to adjust to playing another position which will take some time. He is an athlete you take because of his measurables and versatility
