To the concerned coalition:

If the kid is good then he will play...
If he lets some outsider come in and compete and win the job then thats his fault....

So far he seems to be headed in the right direction with a promising future at JSU. He knows what he has to do get on that field and he is working on it. If he slacks up and lose his scholly, thats totally fine..... we will send him to alcorn.

Not only is the kid concerned about the starting qb spot; he is also determined to GRADUATE!

Tillman. Yeah.... yeah... yeah... :swink:

You need to stop listening to those ex-Grambling converts yall got over there in Houston. With those shades and entourage, you'd think the man was a rock star. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

PS: Don't lay down your sideline pass... "I'm just saying..."

so CLEB know what he talkin bout huh?

ummm, you can get all caught up into high school accolades if you want, but folks with the good sense (thanks rob) know otherwise.... :scared:

carry on though......
Wondering where anybody got "caught up". Did you make these same comments on the threads Gram posters made about their freshmen???

Wondering where anybody got "caught up".

wonder no more. Look at jayrob's post. He said that this guy is the answer to any questions that anybody would have about Jsu's QB position.

ummm, the guy aint played yet, other than in high school. It's one thing to have high hopes for a player, but at this point, to call him the answer is :retard:
point being, high school accomplishments mean little to nothing at the next level.

You overreacted bruh... I mean, it was posted by JayRob. Gonna have to :smh: at you for that one.

maybe, maybe not... seems we got some folk that left still talking with some folks that stayed.

Hey Cleb...yall get that field fixed yet. I recall a lot of "discussion" a couple of years ago concerning that field and facilities. (since you wanna be messing and release folk info...)

Insert rolling laughter here!

Dude, it's nothing going on in the SWAC that I don't know about. :ebrow:

Tillman and his dad visited 3rd Ward first before visiting that gigantic sinkhole in North Louisiana. He didn't want to sit behind Bobby "All SWAC" Reid for one year so he jetted to Gram.

And about that field and facilities thing, no we didn't we just decided to play our home games on the top level of our parking garage and call it a day.

MB, I'll take that as a compliment coming from you, and I'll take it that MH don't know no better.

I succinctly remember someone saying that "Oliver wasn't a good quarterback". I tried to tell that person otherwise, but that particular person refused to listen. He had to SEE it for himself.

Hmmm, sounds like deja vu all over again.:emlaugh:

Britt seems to have his head on straight and seems to be from a solid family, which can't be measured.
He's focused on getting the starting job ASAP, which is a strong possibility if the others don't pull their load.

Seems like Woody pulled a coup on this one.

Dude can flat play and you are right........he comes from good people. He is going to be a good one in the SWAC barring any injury. I know GR don't like northern kids..........but this one is a gem. I had the skinny on him before his Sr year from my OSU contacts. Michigan probably really missed out on him. I think his top WR from his HS did sign with the Big Blue though.

Now this is Sad. Jay Rob is thinking for years to come with this statment. Thing is we also have another 6'4 frehsmen QB (not named Britt)with great arm streght to go along with the returning guys and a few suprises so if you think we lacking at the QB position you are mistaken. That's all the cat was saying.

Or at least that's what I read.

Dude, you really did read too much into JayRob's post. He said it should "help to answer" some of the questions people been asking about JSU's QB situation. Dog81 was just asking GR about that the other day. I don't see where he said Britt was "the answer" as you're saying he said.

Actually, I thought his "cat out of the bag"/"help to answer" post was in response to Dahill posting about McKenna flunking out.

But Catmendue2 said their freshman was getting ready to take over the SWAC. Even if JayRob was suggesting that Britt was JSU's answer, it hardly compares to suggesting a freshman was gonna take over the SWAC. I'm guessing if a JSU'er posted that, you'd be all over it.

I'm glad you added that part. Cause thats damn shole not what he posted.

And again, my post STILL stands. You can't judge these guys by their high school stats and ASSume that automatically will translate to the next level. Doesn't work that way. Never have, never will. There are NO sure fire can't miss prospects at ANY level, at ANY sport. This guy is no different.
He very well may turn out to be a good QB, but its NO guarantee that he will. Or anybody else will, whether they are at Jsu, ASU, Ohio St, Michigan, USC, or Delta State.

I'll be cheering for this guy. Got to see him a couple of times in High School being he's from my hometown. Hopefully you guys will be able to get more guys from Trootwood Madison. They have been producing alot of athletes ever since former NFL player Maurice Douglass was named head coach. Mo is a real good guy.

Only thing that scares me. I'm tired of Dayton athletes getting home sick. Ain't ish in Dayton. Be happy you are gone.

Robber, that's why you're a lawyer. You understand both simple and complex words and phrases, unlike someone with the initials that precede N and I:)

He could have beaten Bobby Reid out...unless he was afraid of Mrs Reid. Didn't she wanna whup Mike Gundy's azz? Cole is kinda skinny...she might wreck his azz.

ummmm,
here is jayrob's post
"This should help to answer the QB questions folks had and still have about JSU"

Now here is my response

"ummm, you can get all caught up into high school accolades if you want, but folks with the good sense (thanks rob) know otherwise"

why on Earth you Jsu people are up in arms bout that comment is beyond me. That comment I made can be attacahed to any incoming player at EVERY school.

guess yall just get defensive if its attached to the ones at Jsu.

Oh yeah the cat out of the bag was Mckenna flunking out.

MH, all you had to do was ask and not ASSume what I was thinking.:smh:
