More than likely if both SU and Bama State win out, the winner of the SCG will be the BCF Champs. Am I right?

I hope so Sting...on another note I would like to see us play Jacksonville St on a home and home bases like AAMU. I think that would be a pretty good matchup

Isn't Hampton ranked much higher than both of these teams? Why would this game decide the BCF Champ. It would seem that it would go to Hampton.

Hampton and Albany State will compete in the playoffs, and more than likely lose leaving the door open for the winner of the SCG.

If SU and Bama State win out and meet in the SCG, it more than likely will be for the BCF nat'l title. Hampton will be on the road in the I-AA playoffs and Albany State won't go too far in the D-II playoffs.

The other thing is that no BCF team has beat S.U. In 2.5 years. If these teams lose to non black schools that should drop as S.U. did.

WHAT IF:

What if SU loses to GSU and UAPB beats ASU twice? Would that make UAPB BCF (add that Hampton loses in the 1st round)? If not, then who?

You have logic 101 down pat, but that's a whoollllleeee lotta "IFes" you got there.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, interesting question.

I will give a finite math answer:

It is possible but highly improbable that UAPB will beat ASU twice. It is highly improbable that S.U. loses to gsu and even less possible for uapb to win a championship. If you glance at the back of a power ball lottery ticket, your chances will be synonyms with winning that lottery.

Hey bruh, I'm a computer programmer. My living is made on IF-THEN-ELSE. My biggest IF this year was "WHAT IF UAPB AND SU WENT UNDEFEATED IN SWAC PLAY". I asked that question as soon as the decision was made for them NOT to play each other. NOBODY gave me an answer, but that IF rose out of the ground mid-season and caused a big stir in the SWAC.

So, can somebody tackle my latest IF?

If Hampton loses in the first round of the playoffs, they should get punished like all them JSU teams used to get punished after dominating BCF and losing to some PWC.

I agree.........Those were some very blatant acts and they need to be consistent.

If "IF" were a fifth, we'd all be drunk. There is no way that UAPB beats Bama State twice. Further, as much as it hurts me to say this, I don't see GSU beating SU.

Your first if didn't pan out. UAPB lost to Jackson State.

Wait until after the Bayou Classic to see "IF", your "IF" is worthy of an "IF".

Alcorn would beg to differ, but I see what you're saying.

Sheridan Broadcasting Network Black College Football Poll
Team (First-place votes) Record Points
1. Albany State Rams (15) 10-0 245
1. Hampton Pirates (15) 9-1 245
3. Southern Jaguars 8-2 220
4. Alabama State Hornets 8-1 213
5. South Carolina State Bulldogs 8-2 157
6. Tuskegee Golden Tigers 9-1 141
7. Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Tigers 6-2 90
8. Shaw Bears 9-2 63
9. North Carolina Central Eagles 8-2 44
10. Howard Bison 6-4 35
Others receiving votes: Bethune-Cookman 25, Miles College 23, Fayetteville State 16, Fort Valley State 14, Alabama A&M 11.

To tackle Sperm's question, if all those things fell into place, you would still need for Tuskegee to lose to Alabama State and for S. Carolina St to drop its final game to NC A&T, or hope that two straight victories over Alabama State would be enough to get UAPB voted over SCSU. This is assuming that both Hampton and Albany St lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. Albany St. is currently #2 in Div II so they are in line to host any playoff games they have. On the subject of hypothetical questions, should/would Albany St be penalized in the polls for losing a 2nd round or later playoff game?

Just like the "IF" of UAPB and SU being tied for 1st in the SWAC West, no one cares to answer my question, but simply dance around it with SMACK. There is a place for that.

Your question was answered above. :lecture:

After playing TU and UAPB, Bama State would have played four teams in the top ten of the Sheridan Poll. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't have any players left for the SCG.

Nah Hornetswarm, those games will not be as hard as you think. Bama State should win both of them. However Coe did say he would not put emphasis on the PB game so he may rest players. I am hoping you guys win out and we win the BC so we can play for all the marbles in B-ham. There is no reason for Bama State to not win either game. Your players will be fine.

No disrespect to Pine Bluff but I believe our second second string team is better than their first string.

No way can I see UAPB getting voted No. 1. Right now, who are the top 4 teams in the swac, SU, Ala. State, and Alcorn, AAMU, UAPB has not beaten 3 of them. The only 1 they have beaten is AAMU. If I remember correctly the only team with a winning record Pine Bluff has beaten is AAMU, (it's doesn't matter who's fault, but you can't beat someone you don't play). Poll voters look at stuff like that. IF all the IF DaSperm IF'd at us happened, the the champ would not come from the SWAC.

If Bama State rests its players against PB and lose that game, it may improve its chances for a SWAC championship but lessen its chances for a black college national championship.
