IT tells me that Robinson did not play, and the refs are gonna make it hard for anyone to beat the Lakers. I mean they even get the calls on the road; that's complete disrespect.

Are you serious. Just the fact that he is 7'1, can help on defense, can hit from the outside, and is another set of fouls is enough to be an impact. Even if they brought him off the bench with the 2nd team, it would make the Spurs a different team. Plus he's another 6 fouls. And with the way the whistle blows just for touching Shaq or Kobe, they need 6 more. Not to mention that you don't have to double-team as much with both guys in there. To say he has no impact is just crazy.

Okay,

I'll give the Spurs credit. They hung in there. L.A. needs to regroup, but overall I'm not that upset. They did make a helluva comeback and probably still could have won. I wasn't ready to think about a total comeback last night until the Lakers actually took the lead. They never did..................I knew it was going to be a "choker" ending, because we never took the lead.

Got it to four points in the early part of the third........but never took the lead. The same happened in the fourth, but we could never get the lead.

I'm proud of the way the Lakers came back......a win would have sent the Spurs all into therapy. God is merciful...it will be a slow death this year.

The Lakers could very easily be down 0-2. Think about it, the Spurs one won in LA without Robinson. Plus, Shaq and Kobe actually had good games. That is not an easy task. Thier 2 stars got thier numbers, and thier 3-point shooters still did what they are supposed. The Spurs were on the road, without a hall of famer, and not playing a particularly good game. They probably won't win the series, but it shows that the Lakers can be beat more than 2 games in a series. They came very close to being down 0-2, and without a few mistakes by some players the Portland series might have gone 4 games. They are very good, but to make them out to be this unstoppable force is totally disrespectful to the other playoff teams. And it is also unfair that when another team plays well it's categorized ad the Lakers playing bad.
 
To me......if you can't be beaten in a series then you're unstoppable. The Lakers are that team this year. One or two wins...that's it.

We'll see.........
