I wasn't going to respond to this at first, but I need to. I and others have said it before and will say it again, unlike classic games and the SCG, ESPN (in this case) doesn't care about attendance. It's all about ratings. If, for some reason at the end of the existing contract (which has four years left) ESPN decides to end this bowl game, it WILL NOT be because of attendance.

You can believe that.

NDSU doesn't play on the national stage until the playoffs every year but they can beat anyone in the SWAC by 60.

Are you going to commit to recruiting the next tier level white players like NDSTate does? Our products looks like it does because we recruit majority black players. We have the skill guys. But not the trenches where the game is won. We lose those black kids to ULL or Troys of the world. We complain but are you willing to have your team less black? Just asking. They get that kid that the Big Ten passes on. We don't get those kids. Those FCS schools that win are really lower level FBS schools.

If Bama can get 1 off Chattanooga, us GSU folks are claiming all of our wins. Hopefully we only schedule FCS and FBS from now on.

Couple observations
I dont know how it came across on tv, but that was an exciting game

Even though Carter didnt deserve to be 1st team All Swac, he is a really good player
Kincaid is overrated

NCCU's defensive line destroyed Gram's line all day long.

As much as there is talk about Gram's fanbase, they showed up yesterday in good numbers

Founder, please dont ever start another topic about any other team playing dirty. Smh

That is what I was thinking. Not looking over the fact their defense plays well, A&T had to have some missing pieces or pieces not playing at full strength. NCCU is just too undisciplined to win "important" games.

On a side note: I really like Fobbs' coolness on the sidelines.

Dr Cavil mentioned the same thing on KTSU Saturday morning. First time I had heard that but it is good to know.

I don't care what skin color a player is. Im not a recruiting coordinator so that isn't up to me. I would recruit any kid who fits into whatever system my schools runs if I were.

And JMU couldn't stick w/ Bama fall 2016 D-I vs D-I. I don't understand the point some are attempting to convey. We can play the "what if" game from here to next year but realistically, this is the WHAT IS game - Grambling St is THE HBCU D-I National champion. Period. No ifs ands or buts about it.

It must be really hard to say "congratulations GSU" w/out additional and quite rhetorical venom being spewed. smh

That's why I didn't even dignify his comment about hanging with NDSU. Either they are just bitter as you insinuated or just don't really have a clue about what makes those programs run.

How hard is it to say "congrats on a GREAT 2016 season GSU" and then make sure your squad reloads fall 2017 over the next few to a point to kick dey azz? :D lol :D lolololololololololololololol
