Can men & women be true friends?

you know why... they were friends first and they cried on each others shoulders everytime they had a heartbreak.... the other was there to pick up the pieces and then there you go.... friend b4 lovers.... and what a time what a time, b/c by that time you know each others habits, wants and needs
 



Because I have seen it in the past were men are like. Yeah thats my friend. She like a sista to me. But if she was willing they would hit it. The women wouldnt have a sexual feeling in there bones for them.

But this begs the questions about can they be friends over time without wanting to knock boots?

Only if the unattractiveness remains the same & no other ulterior motives arrive.
i.e. money, stability, desire to fit into society, etc.

But if she were willing, wouldn't that mean that SHE crossed the friendship line also??? It takes two.....

Ok. The point is "IF". I look at a man and women being true friends with having no sexual feelings towards one another. So if she throws herself at him and he refuses then he is really just a friend to her. (She is not a friend to him.) But If he would act on the possiblity then he is not her friend either.

Got it. I guess it is possible for a male and female to be just friends, but it's a pretty remote possibility.

I dont care how ugly the man is and how beautiful the woman is. If he is kind enough to her, she will look past his ugliness..

I disagree. Women have sexual feelings too... Maybe your defenses are up to realize it.

It can be the way one smells, their choice of cologne, how they chew their food, how they lie about small things, how they're always bragging on themselves, the fact that they can't pronounce certain words correctly, the fact that their feet stink, their choice of clothing and dress, their co-dependent relationships, whether or not they have a relationship with God.......

That's true. What's dime piece to you may not be to me. A bad attitude can make even the prettiest woman ugly. Now that don't mean I want bone her. I'm a freak like that. :nod:

Why not? They are BOTH friends to each other...who had sex.
