So let me see if I for this right. You're actually trying to compare a trip that happens every two or three years when it was regular by schools that have at most an $8 million budget, to a school that has a minimum of a $60 million dollar budget and a sold out crowd at every game not less than 60k.

And I'm just going to pretend that you didn't forget to factor in the other 12 or so sports that don't make any money at all that their travel cost has to be paid for too

Why the hell would you want to move it when they are footing the bill to have it there and you never have to be concern with the weather and at the same time expand your reach into another market?

The fascination is the famed name and proud HBCU sports tradition. Their history is amazing and a move to the SWAC would instantly put their name among the Grambling-Jackson State-Southern fight for the press. Believe it.

I would love to see them in the SWAC, but I do know that much comes with that dream. The numbers just aren't in their favor. With the right administrative team, it could be done.
 
I want to know how the MEAC is an attractive offer for Alabama St. Alabama St. would almost have to double their travel budget to go to the MEAC. There were only 4 teams in the SWAC that were more than 6 hour drive for them (Grambling, TXSU, Prairie View, UAPB). If Alabama St. were to join the MEAC, there are only 2 teams that are less than 6 hour drive for them and that is FAMU and South Carolina St. Every school past NCCU and NCAT is over an 11 hour drive (Delaware St. is over 14 Hours). The average fan is not traveling that far for a football game. You have to look at more than just football. Those non-revenue producing sports is going to kill that athletic budget. Or is Alabama St. going to do like a lot of schools in the MEAC do and that is charge their students over $1000 a year to support their Athletic Program (South Carolina St. and Norfolk St.)

Dude, JSU was FIRST 6 out of 8 years with Comegy. You all just happy that we gave ourselves a self inflicted gun shot wound by hiring OMJ. But the ass whoopings we dish out shall return.

We are definitely the BIG DOG of the EAST. Not only do you have to look at how much we have been to the SCG but our overall record and status in BCF. Neither of you come close. Even if we dont go to SCG, we still have good records unless Bell or OMJ was the coach. What you all need to be happy about is two things... #1 that when we fired Hughes, that we didnt hire Comegy. Can you imagine how Comegy would have dropped 1000 points on ya'll with Robert Kent? and you also need to be happy that we fired Comegy and hired him with OMJ.. Comegy was beating ya'll in the ground and even in our down OMJ years, ya'll STILL struggled with us. Just be happy we gave ya'll a few wins.

You said "US" tho. This is beyond laughable. Even tho half the schools you named suck, y'all and A&M would most def be the Valley & Pine Bluff of that conference. This was one idiotic post, especially about a "super" conference.
