You said exactly what I was trying say about SU. Perry excelled without all the stuff you all are getting later. But PV needed scholarships for alot more Perrys to play. First you need to have the scholarships in place. I mean you can show a kid all kinds of nice stuff, but when it gets down to it, he wants a scholarship to play ball. Get your scholarships first and then get the other stuff. Now you know your AD isn't going to play that game in Blackshear. We'll see.

Ask your SID does our field have lights. It has been documented that us and Norfolk have the only baseball fields among HBCUs that are up to NCAA standards.

I hate folks who have not been outside their little town called Baton Rouge. This kid knows nothing. At PV, we know how to do great things with dirt (A) and electricity (M).

All of our fields have lights. WE actually do something with the A&M name attatched unlike you all. You cannot figure out why the water won't drain so you build a lake in the back of the campus to fool people.

PV's Blacksheer holds 6,000. SU's FG Clark Activity Center (basketball stadium) holds $7,500. Big deal if 6,000 have access to the stadium's restroom facilities. AW Mumford holds 24,000 plus of which only the endzone seating doesn't have access to the stadium restrooms. That is about 21,000 with access to the stadium restrooms. Maybe the guidance of "The Man" has lead you to believe otherwise, but being able to provide stadium restrooms for 14,000 more attendees means PV has a lot of catching up to do, in spite of SU's need to expand to 30,000 seat stadium with restroom access for them all. Are you even selling out yet? Certainly your home campus attendance is 6,000, right? Right?

Did you transfer from SU to PV? That makes you a Jaguar alumnus and a PV student. Why you hatin' on yourself? Stop doggin' your mother-school just because you are staying with your step-mother-school.

I don't blame TX A&M for making you all play at home. You don't show up to see your team anyway. Why pay for you to have 20,000 guess show up with your couple of thousand to get Pimp Slapped again. Massa is tired of carrying your sad program. Quit hatin' on SU and put money into your program and start showing up. Didn't you all realize that Reagan cut welfare. The trickle down has finally gotten to you.

Here is hope. If you ask us, we may cut a deal with you to split the expenses and profits in Houston if you want to make some money. That might help you with a couple of more scholarships next year.

Only someone from PV would ask about how money is spent on athletics. Football is our major revenue sport. Proceeds from the Heritage Bowl (250K don't go far when you are supporting your athletic programs [men - football, basketball, baseball, indoor track, outdoor track, cross country, golf, tennis & women - basketball, golf, softball, tennis, volleyball, indoor track, outdoor track, cross country, bowling]. All of our programs are funded with the maximum number of scholarships that are allowed by the NCAA. When PV reaches that mark, then please question SU's programs. As for the NBC money, the money from the TV commercials is used to PURCHASE the air time to keep the Bayou Classic broadcast live and with nation-wide coverage.

What a waste of facilities. You say you have the best. It's a shame that you don't know what to do with it. I was looking at the 2001 baseball standings and noticed that your baseball team didn't even make it to the first round of the playoffs. Now let me think about this....finish in the SWAC's gutter playing on a baseball field which is up to NCAA standards OR play on our field, dominate the SWAC (beating you 9-8, 24-12, 7-5, 27-3, 8-3, 11-8, and 16-8), beat LSU (ranked #2 in the nation at that time), and finish 43-12. I'll take our results anytime.

Did anybody deny that they were sitting out there? All I said was that they were NOT used at anytime. The ones that presently grace Lee-Hines Field were bought by Southern University. The LSU lights had a tripod-like bottom. If anyone is around the field now, they would tell your trifing arse that these have a single support pole. And you jackarse, my degree is legitimate. Way to go TAMU. You know how to use dirt. I know your administration does too the way they buried your athletics program and are trying to make a comeback with these "beautiful" fields and all the amentities, BUT all you dumbcfukers are forgetting one thing: THE PEOPLE NEEDED TO WIN. What good is all of this nice stuff if you continue to attract isht to your athletic programs? I'm happy y'all are moving up, but when is the last time you saw someone win a NCAA Title for "The Best Facilities in the Nation". Obviously, you are the one who has only been in Baton Rouge and Houston otherwise you would know that there are SWAC universities that put both of us to shame. BTW, I've been to Prairie View on my recruitment trip to your Daddy's school about five years ago. They were trying to persuade me to look at Prairie View because they thought I was dumb as some Texas brothers tend to be (Current Texas company included) and I told them if I wasn't good enough for College Station with my grades and ACT score, screw the rest of that isht. I only wanted to know about the lights.

Up here in Normal, the Athletic Community Resource Group and a couple of more groups assisted with paying for the new fields and lights.

Could one of you Jags explain (to all the readers of this board) why is it that when a lone smacker from PVAM is smacking the "L" of you; you all try to trash him by bring some kind of sexual molelastation into the picture.

This is about lights and the band fan has almost turned the lights on all you SU smackers.

For the record, we explain to you about A&M Universities relationships several months ago. We established the fact that we would not recognize SU A&M College among the great A&M Universities because your A&M College does not meet the standards of a university.

It is so sad that everytime the band fan start smacking SU, you all try to hide behind your championships. What does lights have to do with Championships.

I know you don't want to start smacking with the Dawgpound the best smacking team of 2001.

Hold on there JR, we have two back to back Volleyball Championships. Our Ladies received rings for Volleyball just as you gave your football players those big ugly ring with 1.7 Ozs of gold in them. The only reason they could not make them with 10 ozs. is that the folks in BR had used up their State Gold allocation on gold teeth for the year.

If our star bowler had not gotten a blister, we would have won bowling.

If Coop had not called that throw back pass and the GSU Official who is always assigned the game between GSU/AAMU had not called back that touchdown we would have won the SCG. But we understand that we must pay our dues. I know I am speaking like TP when I use Ifs, but I had to Make a point.
