Let me say sumthin'!!!!!

How long are we gonna let this thread go on?
How long do we have to tolerate TAM-PVtpf?
How long will it be before someone recognizes that tpf said...

dirt (A) and electricity (M)

How long will true A&M members take to recognize that the "M" stands for Mechanical?

In the words of Dandy Don (people from Tx can relate...and I like Tx...really...)...

Turn out the lights
The party's overrrrrrrrrr!!!!

R&B translation (Teddy P. style...minus the he-she):

Turn out the lights!!!
Light a can-dle!!

:D

JR is always hollering about revenue

Do you want to see the rings our volleyball team has?

BTW. stop smacking with old pictures. Jag 79. You get LSU's trash. I bet LaCUmba revceives Mike The Tiger's scraps.

JR, where you lived in Houston is nothing more than folks who ran from my neighborhood to get a Hwy 6 address. Converted black folks if you ask me. A lot of those homes are smaller than what they left but you cannot tell a suburbanite anything.

But since FBISD put up another black HS, the power comes back to my side of town.

JR, the only revenue sport you can even begin to claim success is football. After that, your fairweather fans dissappear faster than a scared kitten.

2K for a rivalry hoops game, that is dang near pitiful.

PF,
What the hell are you talking about. My crib in Ft. Bend was 3100 square feet. There was no house in the front side of Mo City with that square footage. Son you are young and dumb. Nobody ran from the inner cityor Mo City(I don't know if that's the case not but not then). None of my neighbors were from Mo City. Most folks like me was having a house built for the very first time. It's call living in a good neighborhood. LMAO@ TBF, trying to smack surburbia. I can't help it if Willowridge caught hell from rezoning issues. If those black mofos that let that area by Willowridge go down would have paid attention to what was going on instead of parking 5 cars in their driveways then they could have saved their area. We (black folk ) are the blame for tearing down the good neighborhoods after we move in. It's call having a GHETTO mentality. You young cats really don't understand the real politics. But that's another story.

So you and MD have something in common, you guys have Volleyball Championships. Wow I am impressed. Like I said your no revenue making athletic program is one swift kick away from the white man of being extinct. So what do PV fans follow? Football? nah except the Dallas game, Basketball? only when you play TXSU, Baseball, oh I forgot you guys have lights to see the empty bleachers. Oh and there is the championship Volleyball team, well I won't even go there. So why do you constantly keep thinking SU won't follow anything but football. I have sat in the HP&E Center a many of years and was amazed at how we SU fans would outnumber the home team. I guess since it isn't like that the last couple years, you feel we ain't supporting nothing but football. I tell you what ask A&M how many times they sellout there home basketball games. Basketball isn't big in the South unless you are winning. With maybe a few exceptions. I know the baby dome isn't packed every home game. The truth of the matter is SWAC bball is down. Alcorn and the Bama schools are carrying the load right now. The rest of us suck. There are no Machine Gun Kelly's, Audie Norris's, Eddie Archie's, Avery Johnson's, or Bobby Phills in our conference. We suck period. End of story. Now smack on that.

JR... speak of what you KNOW.... I will let you know that AAMU is a basketball school. Fans just care more about basketball than football. Maybe it is because we are one of the most winningnest HBCU basketball programs over the last 20 years. I will admit.... SIAC basketball was more exciting than SWAC baketball and our fans can tell. When we were in the SIAC, every game was a sellout, no matter who we were playing. Now we may have around 4 sellouts a year. But trust me, AAMU home games (even without student attendance counted) is in the top 3 in the SWAC. Last Saturday, against PV the gym was packed (6000 seat gym) and there was a reported 2200 SMH.

DaHill read what I said. Alcorn and the Bama schools are holding up the SWAC this year. Now you guys maybe more of a bball school since you have not won at Football. But I will bet you if AAMU went 11-1 a couple years then bball would be forgotten about. Well it wouldn't be #1. But you know as well as I know FOOTBALL is KING in the SOUTH. So I am speaking on what I know. AAMU may be one of the few exceptions. I think I mentioned there were some in my previous post. SMH

I took a drive the other night in that great hood and was not impressed. 3100 square feet? Whoop de doo! The houses are right on each other and then Teal Run does not have adequate emergency organizations. (City of Fresno :lmao: ) They had a restaurant burn down in Fresno the other day despite having seven trucks to help.

We remember Teal Run when it was just starting. Nothing but grass but my mom did say you got a lot of house for the money then. Then she said she hated how you only have 1 way out of the hood along with no kind of emergency services out there. Still happening to this day. Go there now and I feel like I am in inner-city Houston. cars all parked on the street, folks hanging out. That's why Sienna has thrived, same folks running away from us. Hwy 6 resembles nothing more than a track meet if you tell me.

remember this name, Thurgood Marshall High School.

So why do you constantly keep thinking SU won't follow anything but football. I have sat in the HP&E Center a many of years and was amazed at how we SU fans would outnumber the home team. I sat in it in Dec. when SU came and there were no more than 20 SU fans. I guess football drained their wallets

Even before Ben Jobe had his first game in Baton Rouge there were not a lot of folks in attendance. Most fans who like hoops and support the program would show out of curiousity. And what's sad is that during hoops season SU is the only game in town. So there should be no excuse as to why they don't support the team.

The rest of the sports? If it is not in BR, they don't go. There were more TSU fans at the SWAC Championship Track Meet than SU fans last year.

Fairweather fans

SU, I am glad you have your memories, because there is a new team on the block. That team is AAMU which will soon be dominating the SWAC. We are going to demand that all games we play NFL officials and NBA Officals are employed. We will see how good you are then.

Since the SWAC office stayed in Louisiana so long, the officiating has long favored Lousiana schools. Why do you think Gram won so much?

Then SU comes out of the blue and does the same thing. Now Gram, het the picture?

If another team wins they have to beat folks in the ground. They will never beat a Louiaiana school when the game is close. SU is very well-known for winning like that.

Do you think it was Grambling's defense or the official wearing 99 in the black and white striped shirt that caused you to lose the 2000 SCG?

We all know Pete would make several stops out the way to New Orleans when he arrived so he could fall in their good graces.

Net result in 1993 (first season): 11-1 after a horrible 1992 season.

It was that big umpire that did to us on both occasions. He officiate like of the guys who I worked with. They would only throw the flag if you made a first down or score.

Bottom line is, you might make all this cash but it does not look like your doing anything with it. With this BIGTIME alumni you have nothing to show for it facility wise.

You say our hands are tied, looks like Mike Foster tied yours also.

Will some please renovate the Nasty Dome please?

You're not getting it. SU is were PV is trying to go. In case you hadn't realized it, SU is not only in the renovating process, but we are in the enlarging process. Yet and still, more distance to seperate your alma mater from your current school. I guess you no longer understand when you go to games for a school that ain't filling a 6,000 seat Pop Warner stadium.

PEACE!!!

How did you get me involved in this?

I only wanted to know about the lights.

Up here in Normal, the Athletic Community Resource Group and a couple of more groups assisted with paying for the new fields and lights.

Could one of you Jags explain (to all the readers of this board) why is it that when a lone smacker from PVAM is smacking the "L" of you; you all try to trash him by bring some kind of sexual molelastation into the picture.

This is about lights and the band fan has almost turned the lights on all you SU smackers.

For the record, we explain to you about A&M Universities relationships several months ago. We established the fact that we would not recognize SU A&M College among the great A&M Universities because your A&M College does not meet the standards of a university.

It is so sad that everytime the band fan start smacking SU, you all try to hide behind your championships. What does lights have to do with Championships.

I know you don't want to start smacking with the Dawgpound the best smacking team of 2001.

There you go... Back that thang up!!! LOL Ever heard of letting the sleeping dog lie. Same applies to Jaguars. See we love all HBCUs. See its like the fire ant beds. Disburb it, and we'll be all over you. Don't start none, want be none.

As for the lights, it don't matter. We whip you under lights or under the sun. In either case, it is a whippin' you can feel and see.

PEACE!!!

Hold on there JR, we have two back to back Volleyball Championships. Our Ladies received rings for Volleyball just as you gave your football players those big ugly ring with 1.7 Ozs of gold in them. The only reason they could not make them with 10 ozs. is that the folks in BR had used up their State Gold allocation on gold teeth for the year.

If our star bowler had not gotten a blister, we would have won bowling.

If Coop had not called that throw back pass and the GSU Official who is always assigned the game between GSU/AAMU had not called back that touchdown we would have won the SCG. But we understand that we must pay our dues. I know I am speaking like TP when I use Ifs, but I had to Make a point.

OK everyone, stand up and give them a hand. Oooohhh! Volleyball champs!!! Impressive!!! lMAO

IF... IF.... IF... Can anyone find a bigger word than IF? "If our star bowler had not gotten a blister, we would have won bowling." LMAO!!! What a whimp! Was this the Sonic Boom's male twirler? LMAO!! Then you have the nerve to say you would have been football champs depending on a double IF condition.

Hey, you would have been 12-0 if you had won all of your games. My my my... Ya'll trippin'
If you had beat SU, .... LOL!!!

PEACE!!!
