An Early Look At SWAC Football Championship Game Scenarios

Hands!! Who really think PV will beat Alcorn and Bama st? Its simple PV was out the equation when yall lost to Grambling. Aint nobody in they right mind think PV will finish in a three way tie with Southern and Grambling u can stop that BS!
Bruh, truth be told, PVAMU is supposed to be 0-5 SWAC instead of 4-1. Who would've thunk that PVAMU could "escape" lol w/ a victory over powerhouse SU @ their place for their homecoming game. Who would've thunk that a first yr OC could hang 54 points on powerhouse Grambling? Insurmountable odds?

PVAMU is doing something right so I wouldn't count the chicks before the eggs hatch. The Bama St game will be tough. The Alcorn game will be very, VERY interesting since we have coaching staff that knows their system and players inside and out. The architect of their offense is our HC and knows their QB/RB/WRs quite well. I'm sure he knows their weakness(es) as well and can easily gameplan for it.

Excatly like u said " truth b told" PV not even in this equation called championship bound.

If SU and PVAMU win out, your assertion is wrong sir.
True. But who has a tougher road Southern or PV? PV r not about to win out at Alcorn and at Bama St. Like i said PV was out the equation when yall lost to Grambling. In order for PV to make a championship they have to beat both Grambling and Southern no or Southern or Grambling. In most cases Southern and Grambling r good or one or the other r having a good year plus PV has to either play Alcorn on the road and another good east team on the road. So whats the chances of PV doing that none!! Im a realiest PV is not going to make it.

But you're the same realist, along w/ a lot of others, who didn't give lil' ol' PVAMU a chance to beat SU in your stadium on your home field for your emotionally charged homecoming game. ::confused smiley:: That hoping carries no weight. From your tone, you're thinking that SU is the only SWAC W team capable of beating Bama St and Alcorn lol.

PVAMU will take it one game @ a time. We have offense and we've corrected a few bad things on defense that cost us dearly earlier in the season, for the most part. We have UAPB @ home next week. I like our chances in that game. Then Bama St @ their place and then Alcorn St @ their place. And finally JSU @ our place the last week. I like our chances in all 4 games. Others can hold out hope that we'll lose lol.

From your tone, SU is the only SWAC W team that will win out and Grambling and PVAMU will not lol. You prolly are in disbelief that SU is actually in 3rd place in the SWAC W.

Funny. You're hoping for PVAMU to lose but you're not being real.

I root for PVAMU. Period. And, from the venom laced in your posts, I can tell you are still salty about the loss to PVAMU.

PVAMU has played both GSU and SU. We already know who the stronger team is. :) Enjoy the rest of your season. We're going to do likewise as we're guaranteed not to have a losing season this year in our HC's inaugural first year as a head football coach. For self, I'm actually excited that we'll have a spring practice in 2016 lol and a good signing class Feb 2016 where a lot of guys will soon experience the power of "Zeuss" ;) as we continue to get stronger. There'll be a few shockers that will make the SWAC take notice in the spring - it's coming :D . We have a new stadium to pay for and you cannot pay for it w/ a losing non-competitive product.

He still doesn't get it.. He's worried about this season when in reality we're ahead of schedule. Simmons is doing this with Northern's recruits and 1 or 2 of the #NSD15 signing class recruits. 90% of HIS players haven't even touched the field yet. ;)

He shouldn't be salty about anything... We've beaten them 6 out of the last 8 tries... He should probably get used to it. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, etc won't bode too well either. We'll have the better academics, better campus environment, and better facilities.

No yall need Grambling to lose to someone else plus lose us. Then yall are in if you win out.

His assertion was wrong, which I corrected. I'm familiar w/ what needs to occur in order for PVAMU to reach the SCG. IMHO, it's moot if GSU wins the remainder of their games.

So you think Big Worm is just going lie down to PV every year? He is 2-1 against you and he knows He fugged that game up on last Saturday and had every opportunity to win. And PV ain't the only ones adding new facilities to campus. SU is too. Don't get so high and mighty and think just because you are finally building something, that others are sitting on their hands. Heck Big Worm is advocating for another Field House in the other endzone. SU alums are back to donating again. See the Jaguar Park that is getting done. Baseball has it's own field house now. And we are in good hands with Roman Banks as Basketball coach.

The academic thing is about who do you believe in and what you want to major in. SU Engineering and Nursing the two big draws student wise is still getting folks hired by big companies including ones in Houston, Dallas and Austin. Plus the out of state fee waiver for good students will get those kids who just don't want to stay home. As long as that is happening. Kids will come to SU. Enrollment is on the rise and we got folks who finally get it when it comes to recruiting student athletes.

If anything yall better keep your good eye on Worm and his staff. He got some nice Texas prospects already giving shout outs to SU. And it helps that SU has a lot of HS coaches in the area in South La now. This ain't the Pete let us slip SU when yall had your run against us. It's going to be a dog fight now and I do not see SU getting beat 6 out of the next 8 years by PV. Our alums have been awaken and their pockets are opening more and more each year. Thanks Bobby Jindal. Yall should have noticed that by all the donation things going on during our Homecoming.

We going to help break in that stadium of yours next year. Now that it can house some folks. The Houston Jags about to roll down there and take that mofo over. Now the Jukebox can come too and fit.

But JR.... :( smh

#33 Will Skinner, TRUE Freshman FS from Spring HS in Houston, TX, led both teams with 15 tackles in this game... #22 Jalan Coleman (transfer from UAB), RS-SOPH LB, was bashing heads in left and right, was 2nd with 11 tackles. Both were all over the field last Saturday and return for MULTIPLE seasons to wreak havoc.
