Grambling and Southern in the same situation win out one those teams go to Houston. PV has the tougher road. Alcorn and Bama st i dont c PV winning both those games.

Just because your team hung on for hope against Bama State doesn't mean ours will. We also have someone on our sideline who made the Alcorn offense what it is today and knows their defense in and out...

Unfortunately they'll get another one next week. I'm also going out on a limb and calling an upset this weekend when they face sTu.
 
Grambling must run the table in order to punch its ticket to Houston for the SCG while saving the SWAC office the headache of solving a potential three-team tie.

A&M needs to take it one game at a time! go 1-0 each week from here on out

in a perfect world we win the next 2 and go down to SU for a big game pull that off and set up a big matchup between Alcorn who has to win big games vs SU & PV

I like our chances if we win the next two games but the MCC will be big because it's a rival game not to mention the biggest game in BCF & FCS football

Let me rewrite what i said. Grambling and Southern is in the same situation. If one of them win out Southern or Grambling will go to Houston. Meaning if Southern WINS THE REST OF IT GAMES THEY GO TO HOUSTON. IF GRAMBLING WIN THE REST OF ITS GAMES THEY GO TO HOUSTON. How is this so hard to understand. Smh

I agree we got to take it one game at a time. Hopefully we will have everyone healthy for Bama State. If we beat Bama State, it will come down to a head to head game with Alcorn and anything can happen!!!

Let me reinforce what Kenn said. Grambling can afford to lose a game......win the BC and go to the SCG. Southern has to run the table to go to the SCG (unless they win a very tight game in the BC lets say by a FG).

Yeh, it's more to it than that, dez. If Grambling wins the remainder of their games, this is a moot subject and all of us will be watching them against the SWAC E champion. However, if SU wins the remainder of its games.... (wait for it).......... and PVAMU wins the remainder of its games.... 3 way tie for SWAC W 1st place.

SU has the tie-breaker over Gram who has the tie-breaker over PVAMU who has the tie-breaker over SU.

Grambling is in the front seat driving the SWAC W car. PVAMU and SU are passengers in the front seat looking to grab the steering wheel if they jack up just once lol. :D UAPB is in the trunk and sTu is in the rear seat w/ a box-cutta' looking to car jack (they are 2-3 SWAC record now... who knows how this can unfold). lol :D

Hands!! Who really think PV will beat Alcorn and Bama st? Its simple PV was out the equation when yall lost to Grambling. Aint nobody in they right mind think PV will finish in a three way tie with Southern and Grambling u can stop that BS!

PV is capable of beating both. I don't see Bama State beating PV. Just don't. The Alcorn game is different. That will be the one to watch. I have that as a toss up. Alcorn is at home. If Alcorn beats SU, I can see a let down for PV the following week against Alcorn because that effectively kills their chance to get to the SCG as they need SU to keep winning as well to force that 3 way tie.

Alcorn will decide how the West shapes up for the stretch. We play them on Halloween in BR and PV plays them the next week in Lorman. I can't see Alcorn losing both of those games. But if they do, both the West and the East just got more interesting. LOL.

Gram is not losing another game before they play the BC. So basically SU and PV need to keep winning. Alcorn game against both teams may determine whether the WEST is over in the next two weeks. Hell if they beat SU. Gram is in. Because even a SU win against Gram in the BC means nothing as PV and Gram would be tied and Gram holding the tie break.

Now if someone upsets Gram along the way. Then things get interesting. But I doubt it. Bottom line is SU and PV needs to win against Alcorn to keep SU and PV's chances of this thing being a tie at the end when the BC is played. Now if SU wins against Alcorn and Alcorn beats PV. Then that opens the door for the SU and Gram game to be the deciding factor for those 2 teams.

Alcorn not losing to both PV and SU, they will clip one of us. This is going to be a trip the next 3 weeks
