Yea... and E flat is right next to E natural... See that's yall's problem at Grambling... You just say... It don't matter. LOL.

What are you playing..? You know it's E flat right?
Well I played E natural.. it's right next to E flat... it don't matter...

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Dayum. That is so true. Harold J. used to drill this into our heads in band camp, so when the season started there was NO reason for a squadron to go downfield in a rag-tag way. Someone needs to bring back those 64 up, 64 back drills. Do those enough and you won't dare have a crooked line. :bump:

Being neutral, and from a bandsmen point of view, many things can be said about both schools. As far as new and old skool is considered, I fit someone where from the middle. With that being said, both sides need to consider a few things.

:read:Although Grambling has been going through challenges in regards to respect from their peers in the marching band world, lets not forget why they are "The world famed". Like it or not, its the truth. The problem is, many of these "new skool" folks entered the band world during a period in which their program happened to be doing ok. :shame: Look at some old footage before you are quick to talk s.hyt. The Bayou classic wasn't the number one hbcu classic for nothing. Grambling used to run the 80's easy. Hey, that was their time........can't knock em. Jackson was some heavy hitters as well.

Now lets be real, say what you want about any band but, Grambling by far is not sorry. Neither is Jackson. Some bands have their year and some don't. I can remember a time when Alcorn handed out plenty of Azz whoopins. How soon we forget. Non the less, people have a good season and all of a sudden think they are the s.hyt. Nothing wrong with school pride, but it becomes a problem when pride is replaced with Ignorance. Anyone can easily find the EXACT same flaws in JSU, just as they did in Grambling. The thing is, when one group is in the majority on this board, it gives the appearance that their viewpoints are more valid. A very common trait among niggery so I'm not at all suprised. Let some people tell it, they never receive an "L". Lets also remember, "just because you haven't been to the beach in life doesn't mean your lake is the s.hyt" Only the intelligent will understand that comment. Rivalry is always expected and appreciated. After all, We are the SWAC, a very powerful HBCU conference built on a tradition of pride, excellence, and superiority. Notice, ignorance is not one of our traits. Old skool, teach the new skool CORRECTLY, and not just how to talk s.hyt when they "think" they are better. This goes for all our programs. Also, lets learn to clean our own back yard rather than worry about others. Until we can give a flawless show, make your mirror your best friend.:tup: In the name of "rivalry", keep it fun of course, and talk s.hyt......but don't talk s.hyt.

:cool:

Shucks....we steady talking about how these kids in the bands are weak....I"m starting to wonder about folks that get offended on the internet!!

LMAO- it's Clas...errr Klassic week, let's see how nice you are when talking SMACK to them Bammerrr A&M Pups!!

(yall got a band right??!)
:lmao:
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Don't act brand new...some of these bands have been using gimmicks for years. Whether they're featuring the token white boy dancing like an idiot off beat or featuring a bunch of fat girls and/or boys dancing in front of the band....it has existed for years!!!

Man, but it's gotten worse over the past 10 years. They got whole storylines out there on the field now days. It takes away from the band and shows lack of creativity.

Not tring to save anyone, nor imply that rules be made in the name of talking s.hyt. Simply put, what s.hyt could "Payless" talk to "TJ Max" about?:|

you are very stupid dawg. and your opinion on life does not matter at all. all you heard were btones, man you sick. try t-bones, btones, and heck our trumpets even came up. da BOOM sounded more like POW, cuz the Boom was not their, i must say though they got a little powerful in the 5th on the songs ya played last year but during the game we were like "what, is this the band everyone is talking about?" we are not crying we really dont care, cuz when its tha same people talkin stuff it really gets old. and why yall dancers have on some pop lockin outfits, talkin bout our dancers. then lets go to ya field show, it was wack just like ours. lets go see some video please. we are far from the worst band.

Well lemme correct myself since u took what i said literally...yall's sound is btone based...yall sounded like a internet clip with the volume on 1 until the btones came in and then i went up to 4...SMH @ the statement above in bold...so u knew GSPoo sucked sat. so what's the point of your reply...u just proved everything i said...nuff said
