That show was borin' as hell.... sorry. JSU fans don't do the whole politically correct stuff... If it SUCKS.. they gone let u know. lol.

LMAO@Grambling's "Let's Stay Together", "Lay Your Head on My Pillow".... ya'll never disappoint when it comes to playin' stuff that it sounds like NOBODY knows.

Not Grambling's fault that some of these NEW SCHOOL kids listen to all this Hippy Hop without listening to music from where it started........

They focus TOO MUCH on this new school and not going back to the past...

Heck I was going over some of my Old School clips and found the Tubas playing Poppa was a Rolling Stone
 
It doesnt matter man, because no matter how Well Grambling Band does or gets, We still are going to be TERRIBLE, SORRY, UGLY, SOUND BAD and just be GRAMBLING and just because of that name. The band will forever be SORRY to them for Eternity!

i see why your name is noise talker because you talking a lot of bullsh't, Grambling band plays things other than SWOOP, the lets stay together and lay your head was on point don't get mad at us because yall football team lost lol! The only song that JSU played that had some umph was Meeting In My Bedroom, The It's No Crime and Maneater was very lame bruh and that's being real! And yall talk about yall got with Southern i know that's a damn lie from what i just saw on Saturday! When you, your comrades and the Boom get off yall high horse and stop thinking yall the shat then you would realize that you have to play a variety of music not just SWOOP, I'M Dreaming and Poison!

They don't make Clydesdales the way they used to. These new band people are a sensitive breed. Who gives a fugg what the opponent has to say about your performance. Perfect practice makes perfect(Conrad Hutchinson 1987). Just do your damn show to the best of your ability and keep it moving. You're playing in a hostile environment...you're gonna here opposition. But if you suck, then the people will let you know. This band internet shiiit is the worse thing they could have come up with!!!!

Trust me JSU fans arent partial to anyone....not even da BOOM...if they dont like a show, well you get the picture.....:emlaugh:

BTW, if we boo the refs, it will be during the game, NOT DURING THE HALFTIME..... what the fans were booing was what they were watching at the time of the boo's....I'm sorry but that duffle bag looked more like a BODY bag..it took me a minute to grasp the concept of what they were doing and what was that green mess that was thrown on the field....I have yet to figure that out....maybe the announcer should have added something to get us more into it or somthing....I dunno....

Maybe Grambling should watch the BOTB tape from last year....it'll be a good "BOO" exercise. The boo birds will come out. You have to know how to handle them. You wanna shut the boo birds up...blow em out of the stadium!!!! In tune with a nice arrangement I might add....

That is a good question. Why would any real musician continue to converse with a man who still haven't told me what comstitutes a deceptive cadence. A person like you only understands power!!!! The louder the band,...the better the band. You would never be able to comprehend the finer nuances of music. That's a new word for you.

I do not agree with your 2 cent opinion on Valley. Over there,.. they know what I mean when I say nuance. When are ignorant people like youself going to realize that there is more to music than just loud arse simple chords and syncopation in unison? Do you know what that means? I appreciate what Valley is doing with the music as well as Grambling. I'm about the music!!!! I don't care who is playing it!!!

I did not like them white shoes, that big circus drum on wheels, those EXTRA thick stockings the dancing girls had on, the big guys dancing :no: nor the music/songs.

Also, I did NOT like the fact that the Boom's like were crookedER than my teeth before I got braces in '86. :no: If you CAN'T see the person to the left or right of you then YOU are OUT of LINE! :saw:

Fugg dat I take everything Personal about the band, because If we are that damn sorry. For so many damn YEARS, SOMEONE NEEDS TO CARE, SOMEONE NEEDS TO SAY SOMETHING AND ATTEMPT TO DO SOMETHING.
Hell no one gets bashed as much as Grambling's band. Not even Mississippi Valley nor Alcorn! So im like WTF... it must be true. And yall talking bout sit back, chill dont worry bout it. Hell this been going on for TOOOOO LONG. Im tired of hearing all dat ish.... So hell yeah imma take it personal... Its a DAMN shame how yall people think in here. WHAT DO YOU ALL STAND FOR. I kinda expected more of you.

Since you put it out there like that,...let me tell you also. I am World Famed and I don't give a crap about what you like and don't like about the band I came from. I understand the history and you don't. These young people work real hard and they need our support and constructive comments. They don't need this continued trashing!!!

uh, when did these gimmicks creep into halftime shows? Back in the day we played good music, HOMPED up and down the field, danced our azzez off and came off the field. Occasionally we had a guest vocalist ... but Harold Haughton's voice could compete with anybody of that era so we already had our own. :bowdown:

When did things get so messed up? :shame:

Dayum. That is so true. Harold J. used to drill this into our heads in band camp, so when the season started there was NO reason for a squadron to go downfield in a rag-tag way. Someone needs to bring back those 64 up, 64 back drills. Do those enough and you won't dare have a crooked line. :bump:

Don't act brand new...some of these bands have been using gimmicks for years. Whether they're featuring the token white boy dancing like an idiot off beat or featuring a bunch of fat girls and/or boys dancing in front of the band....it has existed for years!!!
