AAMU QB SHINES In ALL-STAR GAME

Because the competition isn't that good. There's a good chance he will see a lot of playing time early.

Yall Bama St folks kill me... you dont even know who at the qb position from AAMU.... All you know is Tim Robinson.. WHO CHANGED POSITIONS.... Didnt Johnny Keith KILL yall last year in the Magic City Classic? Your starting quarterback aint no better than Johnny Keith. Keith didnt start till about the 4th game of the season and his passing yards are close to the ASU's qb. There will be plenty of competition at the qb posistion this year... Johnny Keith, the Luke brother(Auburn transfer), Spence from Miami Norland who led his team to the state championship in the largest Florida class (redshirt), the qb from Blount that just signed, and Dorman.

Are you trying to divert the attention from the subject at hand? Maybe you think this thread would lead to comments that would ultimately compare AAMU's qbs with those signed by JSU.

Ummmmm...............no. This just seems like..........well, nevermind. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. And actually, I'd take our JUCO QB's (2) over the preps you all inked. (3)

A washed up white boy who NOBODY else wanted... didnt even have an offer from anywhere else... came to Jackson and visit and was amazed because he had never seen a Black person before... Bell showed him a tape of the Jcettes and he signed.

I would never take a good JUCO player over a good high school player UNLESS I was on the hot seat as a coach...why sign two JUCO qb's? Should have signed one and a high school player.

Also you forget we still signed the Luke brother... transfer quarterback from Auburn

Yeah, that's him...snicker......

I guess everyone wanted that 160 lb dude. This reminds me of how when we were about to play A&T and they had 180 lb linebacker and were killing the MEAC....we lost the games but we told them that those little boys would not be a match for our offense.....I am telling you the same. You better hope that dude ain't 160 lbs.

Well, we redshirted a frosh. last year and Haren (washed up white boy) has three years of eligibility, b/c last year was his first on the field. There was no real need for a HS QB. We needed some insurance for Brian Green, so we signed not one, but two quality JUCO QB's.

Dude we have consistency..

We have Green with one year left
Matthews with 2 years left
Haren with 3 years left
and MaLaurin with 4 years left..

We have options. Besides, you all will have bigger worries than who our QB is. Just watch. We have never had a problem with AAMU and we won't start to now....Oh yeah, I forgot, you all beat us with 8 defensive starters out and without Kent....ya'lls good now..... sad.

What difference does it make if he is 5'11 or 6'2, as long as he is good enough to beat JSU? Maybe you have forgotten (or maybe you had not heard of AAMU at the time) that we beat JSU in 1995 ( I believe) with a quaterback who was considerably smaller than the size quoted for Dorman. We're into players that win, not useless ones that just carry a lot of weight on their bodies.

You sign two because of depth and experience! More than likely, it will take your highschool qb at least 2 years to gain the concept and get the feel of the college game which would be the equivalent of a JUCO quarterback! :|

And btw, WE DO HAVE A high school qb. The name is Kethon McLaurin! He's been there for [2] years [/B] --the same as a JUCO :snicker: and we'll see how he pans out this year!

The Luke brother is yall best chance at a good qb! Keith will not be productive next year! :)

Everyone but YOU can see the assininity of that post!!

The numbers don't lie....They were killing MEAC teams....go back and look at the scores...they dropped like 70 points on Howard the week before we played them but they could only score on us on turnovers. You ain't never seen A&T play so you need to shut it up....they were/are slap sorry.

Dude, you beat us in the first game of the season when we had an inexperienced team. We lost a lot of seniors from the 1994 team. You returned a lot of starters that year. It took you almost a decade to beat us again....and later in the same year, I would have put my money on JSU.

How long you gon' :spin: those clothes, kid?

Truth hurts but you can still gloat about your little win. I am sure that is all you will have to hang your hat on for years to come. You have heard that saying about the money...sun shining....arse?? right??

That thrashing and the "runnin' clock" at Crews obviously hurts you more. Thing is, 2004 won't be any better for you.

I suppose B. Green will be a Heisman candidate this year.

Brian Green won't touch the field this year but again, QB will be the least of your worries. You all could not even beat Alcorn when you lost one player. When Bell uses his defensive prowess to neutralize your sorry QB, you gonna think Kent was our QB all over again when you see the final score.
