Come on now you starting to sound like a high schooler with that foolshness, what do where his office have to do with what business he was handling for the band when I was there, and even after???

Doc has a VCR and DVD player in his office and don't know how to use it, so what is your point?

Bottom line when uniforms got passed out my days and maybe after, CRABS passed them out... Not Goose, now use common sense just for a second and realize I would know BETTER than you on this matter.

And how in the "Blue Hell" you are going to tell me in who gave me a uniform in 1989. Crabs did not pass out uniforms in 1989. In 1989, We had what was called "Uniform Day." If you were a crab "Back Then", trust me, you did not want to be around the bandroom, passing out a uniform or "Waiting" on a uniform. (89 and before, help me) So, I guess in 1996, things were so "Laxed" that crabs had the luxury to do those types of things. (But,we will same that for a PM also) :shh:

Let's stay on the subject. Goose will not be on staff next year.

Naw we ain't have "uniform day".......We had several other days that may have been equivalent to what uniform day, may have not...

"Uniform day" had nothing to do with "Twisted" being one of the most memorable SU tunes ever, a tune that was played so dayum great no one else attempted to follow....

I never said what Goose did when you were there....I said WHAT he was doing WHEN I WAS THERE...I believe I did came in after you! Which means my information is way more current don't you think?

Don't even go there with the "Lax" BS..or the it was like this when I was there, and yall ain't even do this when you were there crap...

If I ain't mistaking 85 missed going threw the MUD, and 86 was the last year to go threw the MUD... So apply that to what you are talking... You making this to easy, since I see you really TRYING to make a point when you are FLAT OUT wrong...

But to other JUKE the guy the started the "Mummy Glide" back in 79-80 died this past weekend in a car accident here in New Orleans. His funeral is the Saturday...One of his last wishes at the "SU alumni Band Picnic" meeting was that the T-Shirts be Grey this year.. But I will let you all know more details on this..
~1~

Oh yeah, NO we ain't have UNIFORM DAY.....Reserve Crabs passed out UNIFORMS, and after 96, they were usually passed out on a Friday evening or Saturday Morning..Naw NO "Uniform Day" I guess we really missed out on a helluva experience.... :look:

Yeah "Twisted" one of the Greatest songs played in SU history.....Displayed every instrumentation even the trumpet section you ASSume skated that it took a REAL STRONG trumpet section to pull off.

My feelings aren't hurt, I just see what type of old head you are...One with no respect. :look:

You are the only man on this earth that pushes 96. Are you trying to convince yourself of something. I could care less what you think of your crab year. This post is about Goose. You are talking about your crab class skating. I enjoyed 96 just like I enjoy every year of the Jukebox, good or bad. If you skated, fine.. Did 96 have a band in 96? They were alright. My point, is I don't get on the board to debate with YOU sir. And I am certainly not obligated to defend anything I say to YOU about anything that I have experiened or know about on this board. I know what I am talking about.
And know who you are talking to before you try to check someone.
Get your head out of your crotch about 96. You guys were alright, that is my opinion. I have your season tape and love watching it.

Have a good day, I love reading your post. I love seeing how you defend the Juke against other bands. But, I am not going to debate this stuff though keep pull out the sky about 96, what you guys played, how many hamburgers Goose arranged for you to eat, I am upset because you did not march under Roy Johnson, You really wanted to march in the 80's. My point is, I don't care about YOUR views. I do not know YOU. YOU do not know Me. Get over YOURSELF.

One Love.

Goose will not be on the staff, next year.(Sticking to the post)

You came in 89' if I ain't know about you when I got to SU or now I don't need to fin out now...

You marched from 89-92 ASSuming...
The legends from that time is..

Santa Cruz(Trpt)
Sammy Mae(Trpt)
Donovan(trpt)
Dewitt(Trpt)
Shannon(Trpt)
Will Rawlins(Bass-Horn)
Lawrence Rawlins(F-horn)
Derek Hilliard (Snare)
Suan Ruffin (Snare)
Op (Snare)
Sam Boyd (T-bone)

Who are all cool niggs, and don't talk that crazy shat you talk on a public board...

And some B-tones players them and others always mentioned....

However if you dip into my era, my name will come up...... SO you can  to me....

Naw BLACK, everybody I know that know the deal would say, the BAND that came in the DOME and OPENED up with "HAY", and the band that PLAYED .."TWISTED".... Pretty much all those cats I named up above done said that...

I went to B'Ham with a "S" t-shirt on my last year in 99.....That's all folk were talking about was "Twisted".....

I have folk in Houston, that hounded me for years for 96 footage. You can kill that lame, I can count on a HATER from a earlier band to say some of the dumb stuff you saying....But the ones from your era that is waay more respected in my town which was the BULK of the band back then feel totally different from you.

SO that's an ANDDOWN......

I kid you not Derrick Moss exact words to me when I first met him was..

"Man what ever band that was that came threw and played "Twisted" when all them trumpets went up together was one of my favorite bands from the SU".... And he marched in 84 band, and was still around when YOU were there.

If you talking about Field Shows, don't no SU band compare to the early 80 up to 85 that came after!!!! Dance Routines was 96 up beat.....BUt we drilled just like any other band, had POWER on the field....AND STANDS is were we TOOK it to another level!!!!!
Believe That...and

Goose will not be on staff...
Question? Do that make you feel good?

I just check people that I feel is out of line...You right I don't know you, and you don't know me. On the field yeah 96 was aight just every year after 85 was AIGHT!!!!!

Get some stand footage, then talk to me.....Before you lie and say you do...96 season tape don't have Stands...SO I saved you that lie.

Check yourself, Black. Because, you are out of line. And the only legend I know about is Dr. Issac "Patty" Greggs.

Goose will not be on the staff this fall.

We will have to meet. I love to put names with faces. Those are my boys, the fellows you have named, know them very well. And they know me.

Continue arguing with yourself. I have to find someone to talk to with good sense.

I'm not arguing, just letting you know things change overa period of time. And the comments you made about Goose were False during my venture and even to date.....Except you were wrong.

Yes I am from New Orleans, the same as them other cats you know well, all of us speak our mind to whom ever..

What statement did I make that is considered false?

1. Goose not being on the staff this fall?

2. Goose passing out uniforms in 1989?

3. Goose office being in the uniform room?

OR

4.The uniform room being Goose's office?

So if you are disputing any of these facts, then YOU, my brother, are Wrong.

Except it and "Let it Burn"!
