I just told you what he was doing 3 to 4 years after you left and 13 years down the road from your crab year. ...

96 should have had "Skin" Them E's at the end would have been much fuller.

SUtrpt96, you will argue until you can't argue anymore. Why must you debate EVERY thing? Goose may have gotten a promotion when you got there. If Goose did what is "rumored" then he should have gotten fired. When you play with fire, you get burned. I wish him well also, but like I said, if it is true, he knew better.

That's the whole point, you all heard rumors, I done heard the story from Goose himself, other staff...

I am not debating whether or not he was right or wrong...And if he deserved it or not, all I said was this wasn't the place to be asking those questions.

More than serious, I'll put what ever on that... We had a stronger trumpet section with range that year...Tapes don't lie, get some.

What ever you say, all 3 were more powerful than 89, 90, 91, and 92(the worst sounding SU band ever) check the 92 BOTB... :read:

92 was so band, I can't remember anything we played that entire year. 95 and 97 was better than 96 though. :ebrow:

Naw 95 and 96 is more debatable...


Both had big books, 97 book wasn't nearly as big as those two years...Our stanima in 97 wasn't as strong as 96....They worked us more in 96, thus our sound was more polished..... We did away with the polished sound with style for all power in 97..It was fun, but we played more together in 96 and 99 than 97. But hey that's your opinion.
We still had more power and dominated more from 95-97 than SU did from 89-92....

91 wasn't far off from 92 at the BOTB as well.... :ebrow:

95,96 house completely out with tunes opposed to 97...Book wasn't a good thing that year....so no I wouldn't put 97 over 96....If you like quality you wouldn't...
The best 4 out the 90's is 93, 95, 96, 99
