This is a flat out LIE!


Delirious JSU fans had dreams of championships dancing through their heads after years of dreary times.

But then came the figurative kick to the gut - four losses in the next five games, including one to rival Alcorn State in the Capital City Classic, and a lonely seat at home in front of the TV to watch Alabama A&M and Arkansas-Pine Bluff play in the SWAC Championship Game.

And that's exactly why Comegy kept his lips sealed tight for a second straight Media Day. So in that way, things haven't changed much at all.

SWAC Media Day: Hush-hush

BIRMINGHAM ? One year ago, Jackson State coach Rick Comegy sat behind the podium for Southwestern Athletic Conference Media Day, quietly said he hoped to be able to compete in the conference race, then stepped to the side and let heavy hitters like Grambling and Southern University trade verbal barbs and hog the spotlight.

Later that day, Comegy admitted wanting to engage in some friendly banter but decided it wouldn't be the best move in his first go-round.

See, unlike ya'll, we can take the truth. Last season is a reality that has come and gone.....ya'll need to be worried about JSU once again becoming the most talented team in 1-AA.

If that was the case, at least we got the funds in our athletic budget to buy new decal's for our helment's.:lol:

A@M would be lucky to get enough money in ya'll's budget to buy the team Wolf-Bootie lunches. :smh:
