Prairie View A&M at Texas Southern Game Thread - 8:00pm CT

No, the safety came after a PV punt to the 2 yard line and stu had a flag for too many men on the field early in the 4th qtr.
The INT was in the 3rd qtr with the flag. I also wondered why he didn't take the penalty too.
You might be right about the safety. Hell tsu seemed to start from our own end zone damn near every other possession. Hell a broken clock is right twice a day.

Coach Jackson needs to address his players after the game antics. A bunch of players ran over to the tsu sideline and fans talking 💩 . That is never acceptable. These type actions can bring truly bad blood to what should be a family rivalry. We are too close together to be openly disrespectful like that.
I agree. #70 and 71 need to be disciplined. In the stands, we were echoing that.

That is not who we are. That is not acceptable behavior and our president and AD were looking at it.

Didn't TSU's coach do a little talking himself during the press conference? I had one of the youtube shows that covers HBCU's on in the background and I heard some remarks and they kept showing PV's coach sitting there not smiling. Then later they asked Coach Jackson about it and I heard him talking about when he was in school he didn't even go out for recess cause he don't play lol

No dog in the fight other than being from Texas and wanting to see PV do well and represent the state, but if that was my team I wouldn't mind it. Especially after watching SU beat up on them boys in the pregame like they did last year, or was it the year before? Anyway, a little nastiness is ok in my book.

No BBB, that's not how we do it here. Those two things you mentioned are not to be conflated and can lead to bad things happening between young people. The schools are just down the highway from one another.

He didn't tell you half the story. Imagine conversating with, and at times providing a list to key decision makers, prior to Dishman's hiring, that included Chennis Berry, Tremaine Jackson, Shawn Gibbs and Alvin Parker only to receive what was actually a fake thank you and head nod.
Ouch. Trust me we've dealt with an administration like that before. Totally get it

I don't think so. These young men are football players and know what it is. As long as there wasn't any fighting after the game then all it does is add more fuel to the fire for the rivalry.

That's not what it was. Players from pv made their way to tsu side of the field to taunt tsu's players and fans with middle fingers and f-bombs. Very unsportsman behavior. I was sitting near the tsu 30 around a lot tsu's player's parents and grandparents. It was a bad look. I guess this has become normal behavior for this generation of young adults. If this happened at a pwi institution, I guarantee their would be suspensions. They would not be allowed to disrespect Caucasians like that. So what are our standards if any?

🤫 Let them keep sleeping 😴

They would probably get tossed from the team.

They went out of their way to talk mess to those players and fans. While it is just a game as we have learned not everyone takes it that way. We have seen folks get put in the ground for less.

This is what I'm talking about. Just inferior, no reason tsu should ever loose to such a jalopy of a team.
We came in handicapped. Despite those penalties, their staff is solid.

Every game played by us will be handicapped by the same questionable play calling on both sides of the ball. The same low I.Q. decision making will be present to take the play when obviously the penalty should be taken.

PV is 16-4 in the last 20 years of the LDC
That's a lot of wins! Unfortunately it will still take damn near 2 decades to...well you know.

You sound like one of those history revisionist. Every thing before the most recent years doesn't matter. Just ignore all the rest of those games right?

You count your wins when tsu was under a virtual walking death sentence from the ncaa. So count your losses too. What's the all time record?

Post it right here > ---------------------

Bruh, y'all alright? 🌲👀🌲

😂
Awww tink tink, you think this is about you. PV is not a measuring stick for tsu's football program success. You're only an indicator of how badly managed it is. You're equivalent to the low oil indicator in a dip stick.

I dont care who they have on their staff. They're still country. Their fans still have jheri curles and finger waves.

PV is ALWAYS tsu's measuring stick.... in everything.

Anyway, Happy Labor Day! The unofficially "official" start of tsu basketball season!
