If Hakim was the AD, he probably would have avoided this game. Ivory was basically the puppet that allowed Briggs to absolutely destroy athletics in 1 year (see women's basketball (entire team hitting the portal), soccer (season canceled because the players felt unsafe due to scholarships taken and not having enough able bodies) and volleyball (almost joining soccer in canceling the season but v decided to push forward) as well as football (firing Wade due to refusing to give up scholarships from graduating seniors to give to the band)

Its the payday without the overhead. I mean to be honest this game is a bad draw in Jackson.

I get that part but don't take a homegame from your players against a divisional foe and then move it out of state. From the athlete/team perspective, I think its a disservice to the players. Also, I have heard a lot of complaints about the operations of that game in Mobile.
