Bill Cosby

Well, people are saying his rep is ruined. I say there are people like myself who never let it all downplay all of the positive things he has done in his field of work.

Anyhow, with the right advisors, he can flip the negative and be an advocate for those that have been wrongly convicted. Will it happen? I doubt it but still, I can see how the wrong conviction can be played against the system.

...Nevertheless, It hasn't been a full hour and the memes I've seen already are hilarious....

White people and their pet c**ns are saying this

If you are gonna fault him for anything, it's thinking that he could do the same thing as white people with the drugs and sex but there were so many holes with so many of the stories from the accusers. Many just flat out lied.

He's not completely innocent in my book but he no doubt got railroaded by #MeToo

"Aunt Viv" speaks (tweet), and she calls things like she sees them. She has a lot to say.
Ok, first of all, Aunt Viv, you just got out of a 30 something year war of words with Will Smith, now, why are you starting another one with Phylicia Rashad? But anyway, that's neither here nor there.

Now, Aunt Viv said that "EVERYONE knew what Bill was doing back then". Ok, if that is true, then why did those women put themselves in harms way?

I agree. But, is anyone completely "innocent" in this affair? I could be wrong, and God forgive me if I am, but ain't no way in hell, those women did not know "what time it was".

Oh they knew. To get access to someone like BC, they knew the deal. When the money dried up, they cried foul

But the reason why he is free is because the PSC saw that how BC was put in prison was all types of wrong as far as ignoring legal guidelines (pretty much ignoring legal contracts they signed in the name of Me Too).

I also won't forgot how they went after Phylicia Rashad as well

In the case of the woman he was convicted over she continued to see Bill after multiple advances during separate encounters. On one occasion he sat next to her and put his hand on her thigh, on another he attempted to unzip her pants and during another he gave her pills while telling her they are her "friends" before groping and assaulting her. Even after all those encounters, on yet another separate evening, she met up with him again alone in a hotel room.

Much of the details are in the very first ten pages of the appellate court opinion. Just after reading that small amount you get the feeling that what really happened is she just became a scorned woman after she could not break into the sports broadcast business after making Bill aware of that desire. She was willing to do whatever to achieve that, but when Bill didn't deliver on making her dreams come true as she hoped the prior advances suddenly, a full year after the alleged incident happened, became a pressing problem. Also, as 662 said, the Me Too Movement revived the entire scenario of events which took place circa 2003-2005.

You posted what an attorney said. Cosby didn't say that.
The point was that Cosby's own attorney wouldn't allow him to answer that question so as to protect him from admitting he knowingly drugged those women without their consent.

I keep telling y'all these were party girls who traded sex for drugs. I really wish I could remember the name they had for those chicks back in the day.

How do you know that? Did the judge overrule the objection?

Im not going to say what Cosby did or didnt do. BUT unlike some of you, I read every deposition. EVERY! Some of them made no sense and the others were clearly coached because they all said the same thing. MOST of these things happened in the 60s and 70s when EVERYONE had this drug and used it recreationally. Many people use drugs now to have sex. I guess in 30 yrs, most our current celebs will be going to jail for offering women pills, etc.. for sex. That does not equate to rape. Oh and in almost EVERY deposition, EVERY woman arrived at Cosby's house or office or whatever and NEEDED a drink or were not feeling well so they asked if he had something to give them... he offered them pills. LOL They took them with alcohol. Go read that shat for yourselves. One woman says Cosby was doing a show and he walked back stage, put her on her knees and bust in her mouth. Ummm, every man on this board knows that aint happen. LOL Was he just holding it in during his performance? Those women were coached. Again, not saying he didnt do it but the fact that you have 70 to 100 women making this claim is the SOLE reason I dont believe it. Also, most of these were white women with white brothers and white fathers. They killed King in the late 60s. It took til 1994 to convict the murderer of Medgar Evers. You think white ppl gave a fugg about Bill Cosby? They would have hung his ass and would have been glad to do it. So again, im not saying what he did or didnt do but I cant buy into the story told as presented. Even Janet Hubert has 5 more mystery women. OK... well yeah... ok. Oh Also, most of these women were (according to their deposition) gone all night. U mean no one was looking for them? Not a room mate, cousin, mom, dad, best friend, NOBODY? Make it make sense. Maybe he did rape some women but the 70 women who are lying makes this hard to believe. And that "man" who took him court knows she was setting him up and wanted something. She kept going back. Oh and (i keep trying to stop...lol) ANYONE who thinks that Cosby admitted to drugging women to rape them in the statement he made is clearly dumb af. He never said that.

And the fact that some people use(d) drugs when engaging in sex doesn't mean all encounters play out that way or discounts the possibility of rape even if drugs were used.

And women presenting similar stories doesn't necessarily mean they've been "coached." They're explaining Cosby's pattern of behavior. Many serial rapists or abusers usually exhibit or execute certain mechanisms when going about committing their crimes.

And offering drugs, pills, or alcohol to women for sex is the epitome of sexual coercion and a form of rape.

I agree with all of that BUT something is fishy if I invite 50 women to my house and 45 of them walk in and say, I have a headache. LOL I cant tell u how many times I read that. Then they just took the pills. C'mon man! ..and they ALL took the pills with alcohol. Really man?

Again, if offering pills is rape, in 30 years all our current rappers gone be in jail. Some things are just cultural, right or wrong. And when you are in a certain culture, you behave within it. I recall in HS how plenty of 12th grades girls were dating 9th grade guys. One year, it was a "thing"... Looking back, that was rape. BUT there were 12th grade guys and 9th grade girls hooking up and it was normal. YET RAPE. So when you are looking at the times these things happened, them coming to his house ASKING for pills, they clearly knew he was the plug. They just left that part out.

Again, Im not taking sides here but how many black women you know just take pills even from ppl they know? and he didnt even show them the bottle. Even if I give my wife some pills, she reads the bottle to see how many, etc..... Some stuff boils down to common sense and some of the things I read made no sense. Maybe it made sense in the 70s. Who knows!

Preach brother!!!!

My wife made it very simple....as a woman why are you going to visit a married man when his wife isn't there.

Since most victims of sexual assault or rape have some type of relationship with their perpetrator (friend, boyfriend, co-worker, relative, etc.) it wouldn't be unreasonable or unusual for those women to take pills or alcohol from Cosby, especially if they trust him.

And what you're describing with high school kids (or the times in the case of Cosby) is grooming. All of it is sick but is just a reflection of how males have been taught to pursue females in a predatory way.
