PV needs to play the Texas School for the Dead, Blind, and Dumb college and D-II/naia schools to pad its stats and win columns, like some of these other SWAC schools, vs playing traditional and recent top-tier Southland conference and MEAC conference schools AND 2 FBS schools lol.

I disagree. If a player puts up crazy numbers non-conference and disappears in conference that's significant. Waller had over 200 more yards in conference than Tucker while playing one less conference game.

So going by your analogy if a NFL player that plays in the AFC, you would only count what he does in the AFC and not against teams from the NFC?

Totally different. But even in the NFL if a player basically disappeared for over half a season he wouldn't be picked ahead of someone who finished the season much stronger over that final half.

LOL....You're being pretty rough on your team. You only got blown out in 1 conference game, upset the defending 3X champs, won the MEAC/SWAC challenge & came within 3 points of beating an FBS team. Grant it, you all had a rough season with the 2nd half of the season fall, but Deaf & Blind school? LOL
 
Well, considering all the drama we had this season, I'm so very (Godly) proud to see six of my Golden Lions earn honors!

Congratulations Jalen, Jamie, Je'Kevin, David, Dejuan, and Taelyer!

Your Golden Lions, with its 3-game win season, had way more honors than my Jaguars. with its 7-3 game season and Western Division Championship, playing today for the SWAC Championship, with only 2 honors. As a matter of fact, SU and MVSU tied for last place with 2 honors each. MVSU did not win a single conference game and SU finished as the best team in the West. Go figure! These rankings are garbage! .

Both Alcorn and Southern play today for the SWAC Championship with identical 6-1 conference records. Alcorn landed 7 players on lists for post-season offensive honors and 5 for defensive honors. Southern University, by contrast, landed 2 players on lists for post-season offensive honors and 0 players for defensive honors. Furthermore, Prairie View, who Southern defeated by a score of 38 to 0 in PV' home stadium, landed 5 players on lists for post season offensive honors and 4 on defense. Even UAPB and JSU, teams who were soundly and completely decimated by SU, received more respect from SWAC than did SU! Every school in the SWAC had more players to receive post-season honors than SU except MVSU, who went winless in the conference this year. Only in SWAC could this happen! This just goes to show how garbage, garbage,garbage this conference is! This s____ would never have happened in one of your more level-minded conferences. It disgusts me that these kids from SU, after having accomplished so much, was so disrespected by the conference like this! They deserve better!

Again, considering all that’s happened this season regarding our team, I’m very proud of my Golden Lions, and am glad to see 6 of them listed.

Since the rankings are considered “garbage” to you, they should be of little or no concern to you. As you said, Southern is playing for the Championship and are the current Western division champions. No one listed on either team takes away the success Southern and Alcorn has earned, nor does it take away the achievements of unlisted players.

Congrats to your Jags. I’m actually pulling for them today.
 
Coach Odoms and the Louisiana reps should have voted for the SU players. Get over it, you know it happens every year. That’s the SWAC.

1. A simple Google search or paying attention to the board would have prevented you from typing this instead of looking like a whiny ill-informed person

2. It really makes you look bad when people on this board were saying that people from Valley and SU got snubbed on this post only for you to try to shade Valley while making your case for Sudden

3. You need to get on your SID and coaches and tell them to get on their contemporaries about their selection process
 
The beating southern took on the field yesterday by Alcorn serve as ample evidence that the SWAC voters got it right.
