TxSU FOOTBALL

How can you recruit when nobody is in the stands at TSU games. Who wants to play in that type of environment.

Okay...

We are gonna totally dismiss the fact that teams do it all the time by WINNING....

Cause & Effect???

Winning = Better Recruiting

We really gonna act like we don't see programs turn around their fortunes by winning...

This is not rocket science doc!!!

He didn't mean Tenn. State, but since you chimed in, when will your school field a winning conference record?

I knew you were slow but I didn't realize you were retarded too... Damn!

Your ignant azz obviously didn't see or take time to read that he quoted a previous post regarding recruiting at TXSU as opposed to TNSU that I made...

Stay out of grown folk business...

Naw bruh, pin that ignant tag on YOUR forehead. I was only being facetious but you failed to comprehend.
Any how, I'll repeat the question: how did Tenn. State do in their conference games? And please don't run from the question. Thanks in advance.

Thanks M

Winning will help. The Coach that followed Green at Southern was able to do it.

We just need a Eddie Robinson, Pete Richardson type to come in and relieve us the misery that we are in.

"I want to send my child to a more diverse school."

Last fall, I spoke to the parents of one of the RBs @ shsu. They said PV was high on their son's and their list but coach Simmons left and all contact immediately stopped, w/ regards to recruiting their son. They didn't hear anything from the current staffers and they seemed like they were uninterested so they SETTLED on shsu. Their son is built like our DTucker(#1) and had just gashed our defense for a 14 yd gain. He was a true freshman so I think they were looking to save his redshirt or something because he didn't play anymore in the 2nd half. He kept looking up from their home side (west side) stands visually communicating w/ his parents and I was right behind them, witnessing the whole ordeal and hearing their truth. So no, in their case, it had nothing to do w/ "diverse schooling." It had all to do w/ lack of interest and no official followup during a transitional staff.

How does nicholls st, sam houston state, lamar, stephen austin, et al schools do the same when they out-distance SWAC schools in recruiting? lol It's more to it than just "fans in the stands" and game environment.

They recruit that next level white kid as well. We just recruit certain white kids. Mostly kickers and few linemen. Have we ever recruited a white LB or TE? Those schools recruit the next best player than get no matter the color. We still going to recruit the next best black kid. Have we ever gone up North to get a OL. SU did recently and he's graduated. Started for 2 years. I keep telling folks you have to recruit everybody. White, Black, Samoan, etc.

They can get the kid of your black HBCU alum easily and have access to other kids who may not think they’ll be comfortable at our institutions or who’s dreams fell short of playing for state u.

We have to fight against stigma and everything else
