Wow. What a defensive dogfight. I told y'all that GSU would play very undisciplined under the stage lights like they have been known to do in the Fobbs era, lucky them, NCCU played the same way. What a boneheaded decision for that kid to take his helmet off after the TD that gave them a shot at a win or overtime.

Anyway, Congrats to the G-Men on the win. At the end of the day, champions find ways to win. Also, defense wins championships and the G-Men defensive unit proved that this year. Yes, this was an ugly game, but we can all pick out plenty of ugly/low scoring games throughout the years from top FCS and FBS programs. Grambling folks have a great story to tell after what they have been through since the 2012 season. NCCU just dropped the biggest game in their young FCS program history to the face of HBCU championship football by 1 point. Both program are moving in the right direction. I expect a rematch next year.

I kept telling folks that a&t wasn't as good as advertised. I saw them against Bethune and they struggle most of game.

Um.... not to put too fine a point on it but that would be 11-1

12-1

I saw them too, and them boys was far from "not that good." The A&T who I watched beat MAC Kent and drop 52 on BC would have only ran into trouble against 1 SWAC program. Don't forget that they weren't healthy against NCCU or Richmond.

Where did i say they weren't that good or even mention Richmond?

As for NCCU that's a lie they were very healthy until NCCU left them with a third string qb.

You said we would lose to. Thanks lmao

Grambling played well enough to earn the win, but how close this game was is a testament to how well NCCU played. Few on this board gave the Eagles a shot to keep the game close. They held a team which scored over 40 points a game to 10. NCCU is better than many thought and probably should have won.

If thats the case we should have scored more points with some calls made on both sides, we won, the loss, it is what it is. Should, Coulda, Woulda.
