This what white folks say, but you can easily break this down, as a recruiter for a HBCU, you playing in front of 90k of white folks majority who hates you, not just you but your child hood cousins, friends, uncles, etc these folks couldn't care less about you or themThere is no argument that you can present that's going to make a 5 star kid choose Southern over the SEC. Only possible chance you have is if the kid's parents attended there and even then it's a stretch. Mainly because you can't argue against cost of attendance, playing in front of 90k+ and the chance to win a national championship...while being on national tv every week. Even G5 FBS schools cant pull it off except for maybe 1 out of 1000 every now and then. The culture really isn't enough.
How much money do you think a 4 or 5 star gets and you do think them alumni won't support this 4 or 5 star recruits?when the money starts then you have to go somewhere else as then it's not worth it
Good pitch!!*Recruit hears a knock at the door*
*door opens*
"Hi son, Im John Stallworth."
"Im Robert Mathis"
"And Im Coach Spady. And we want to talk about how you can change the face of college football, help your people, and go make it farther in the pros than you would at Alabama or Auburn."

I believe the glass is half-full, unk. I believe that there has to be a special type kid w/ great understanding who could be pulled in the HBCU direction vs the p5/g5 folks. That kid has to have GREAT understanding and intelligence unselfishly w/ humility coupled w/ wisdom and a connection to the past though. ::read::

By you coming to our school you can play in front of 20k-25k at the most and if it's Southern that attendance can go up. Ppl from other schools will attend the games just to see you and these are ppl that look like you. Seeing you play they can tell their son or nephew that they can play at Southern and still get shine. Just imagine a Levi or a Leonard Fornette playing at SU, you don't think the ganes won't draw ppl? What is you sayin, now imagine more 4 or 5 star recruits going to other schools, you don't think ppl will come, now this will create reasoning for students to come to the games. Also more fans mean more revenue means addition to the stadiums, then we can reach 99k ppl at these games..
The only reason why the ship is a big thing is because of media, but once these players start coming to these HBCUs that championship won't mean nothing, the swac ship will be more meaningful

How are the top FCS schools -- the schools that are consistently at the top of the top 25 poll -- making it work with 2 and 3 star players? As someone who is concerned with the FCS, SWAC schools should be going after those players.
Coach Banks needs to do everything possible (and legal) to convince Javonte Smart to come to SU.
The thing is, nobody cares about whether the folks in the stands are black or white... they're at the game to play and they want to play on the biggest stage. Also, there are plenty of black folks at those games. None of the other things you say even factor into an athlete's head. And also, you will never reach 99K regularly at games. You won't even average 50k at home games. The only way you pull that off is if you're a state flagship. And your last point, clearly you've lost your mind.
There's about a 1 in 10,000 chance of that happening on a regular basis. It's just not logical for a kid that wants to compete on the highest level.

Highest level of what?
If you not going to those 11 schools, that everybody wants to watch, what highest level is there?
Do you think Texas Tech vs UVA game with one team being 3-3 and the other team 4-3 is the highest level?
Do you think Boston College vs Maryland the highest level?
Do what is the highest level?
Gameday showing up to that campus and plugging that game is the highest level?
If Miami vs FSU were both 0-8 entering that game, would you consider that a high level
I'm just trying to understand your logic because you sound like you're reading/typing off a sound/card
You're coming off as being programmed.
What do you mean when you say highest level?
Look up where the "fighting tigers" come from. Man I was so disappointed in Lindsey letting his son get to LSU smh.
Pretty sure that's illegal (former players making visits).*Recruit hears a knock at the door*

We are. That's our intent first and foremost but it doesn't make sense not to make a play for those 4*/5* talented youth as well.

Unk is presenting what those kids' mindset is, BH. And that's EXACTLY how they think - p5/g5, regardless of ranking and previous/prior records as "the highest level." They are the ones who are programmed. Somehow, we've got to inject the virus of Right-v1.0 into them to cure them of their negative programming that occurs from day one. It's that same programming that has them wearing notre dame, florida state gear as youth and none of them can tell you for sure where those universities are located. smgdh Just 2 nights ago, I asked a kid who had on maroon txa&m junk did he know where that school was located and he smiled and said "naw, i'm jus' wearin' it..." I wasn't shocked because THIS is a part of the programming they receive that goes unchecked by whatever lack of guardianship they are receiving.
So we're gonna keep beating this dead horse for the 3,000th time?
