Oregon vs OSU

Man the score should have been 70-20

Yeap, Oregon really could have got a taste of their own medicine with 60+ being hung on them. The turnovers allowed them to keep it close and have a shot at taking the lead. You could tell if Ohio State just held on to the ball, they would put them away easily.

Is Urban now considered the best coach in cfb?

YEP. But Saban folks will dispute that. So much for him running from Nick and the SEC. He went home with no pressure on who he plays at QB. He keeps emphasis on being glad to be from Ohio.

He should. His stock will never be higher. Dude has went from a complete unknown to a possible 1st round draft pick.

I agree.

I know that he won't rank higher than Winston or Mariota (although that's now up for debate) but some team will draft him and let him sit a year. He definitely shouldn't go back and sit behind Barrett for a year (he's 22) or transfer and sit a year (or come down to the SWAC and play another year lol).

Barrett is the one who is looking to transfer

It still would be hard to ask Jones to sit another year or so behind Miller or Barrett if all 3 came back. It's hard for me ot fathom even two of them coming back (Miller coming back and Barrett warming the bench for a year)

Better for him to take a chance on the draft now while his stock is at his height rather than sitting out a year after transferring.

My bad I was thinking about Braxton Miller transferring.

I just heard that a few scouts think Jones would be the #3 rated QB if he declared today. After workouts he could rise higher.

First off, congrats to the Buckeyes. I didn't watch the game. It just isn't a championship game without a team from Alabama. :emlaugh: But JR . . . come on man . . . Urban Meyer is obviously a great coach, but this one game doesn't make him better than Saban.

Saban is still The Man.

And I foresee some future great games between Saban and Meyer. Nick had him beat a few weeks ago, but let him off the hook. Anyway, that's ancient history now.

Enjoy the win, Buckeyes . . . but rest assured, Bama will be back!!!

Roll Tide Roll!!!

Deuce, you got to give Urban the slight edge for the moment.. I will say he is 1 and Saban is 1A.

No such thing as 1A....but I feel where you are coming from

We all know that if this year was run by the "so called" computers we would have seen Alabama and Florida St. This solidified the reason to have more than 4 teams in a playoff because you just don't know how the chips may fall.

If all three came back it would be three of the dumbest moves in college football history.
