Worm is going to get his FULL 2 years. He will have to earn that extension. Trust me on that. The Board ain't going to approve no extension if he ain't winning. The pressure is really on seeing how Banks is winning at Basketball. So Worm got to do his thing or else. You need to be thinking about what yall are going to do with Comegy if he don't bring home a title this year.

What excuses. TP you are full of it. SU has never given a coach an extension that was losing in football. LOL. When coaches got extensions they had won the previous year. Even Pete had to go 8-3 to get his last extension. And you see he didn't get to come back for his last year of his extension. SU is sitting the drivers seat with Big Worm's contract. 2 year deal is all he got. So guess what? He has to win right away. If you think he goes 3-8 with a Senior All SWAC Qb and 16 starters returning and will get an extension after that. Then I got some swamp land in Jersey to sell you. Hell if he does too badly this year and things look really unorganized and just plain ole bad all year like Gram's record was last season, then I wouldn't bet the farm that Big Worm gets to the second year. Ain't like we are paying him big money. He ain't even making what Banks and Cador are at SU right now. So excuse me if I just lmao @ your assessment that we will give dude an extension. Now if he goes 9-2 this year and 8-3 next season or something like that and competes for the West title or wins it. Then of course he will get an extension. Probably for just 2 more years at that. LOL. That's all the Board is approving right now.

The same folks that build you up too fast will be the same ones tearing you down if one doesn't produce, especially them White folks in Louisiana. But yall can fall for the okie doke if you wanna. JayRob has been around long enough to know that you don't count your eggs before they hatch and you certainly don't believe everything southern White folks say.

JR, this is the same AD who claimed he pursued a national search for a head coach but when push came to shove, all he could come up with was an inexperienced obscure coach nobody knew much about with the nickname of "Big Worm". Then on top of that, he only gives the man a "two year" contract and a below average salary. What was he offering better coaches with more experience? Obviously not much or they would've flocked to su, but they didn't.

Like I said, I'm looking at the man's entire body of work over a couple of years not during a few months, before he gets the full credit experienced quality AD's deserve.
In the long run, I wish the man well but again, seeing is believing.

This hire is on him and the Board. He will not get fired if Worm fails though. Worm is not making Heish type of money. That kind of hire at SU will get you fired.

You are not very smart at times. Broussard did conduct a national search. Kenn posted the list. The finalists were from Nevada, SU, BCU and the fourth was at Notre Same. They reached out to Winston Salem's coach. So what the hell are you talking about? Right now you need to worry about Fat Rick.I can't wait until y'all have a coaching search for football and your AD brings in one of her buddies.

Come on JR, no need to get personal. You're better than that. I didn't say Broussard DIDN'T make a national search. I merely questioned why all of these potential candidates REFUSED to take the supposed coveted su job or didn't qualify, yet an obscure coach with little to no experience won out. That's what I was questioning.
All he could come up with after all that work and effort was Big Worm?
After saying all of that, only time will tell if Broussard can resurrect su's athletic program from the ashes of it's current obscurity. I wish him well.
