Lol Try telling some of jsu's "truth" for a change..if you are aware of it. Sheesh you guys devote your life's work to undermine MyASU, and honestly it has gotten quite pathetic.

Re: Alabama State Looking To Leave The SWAC? I think so, the handwriting was on the

What school has tried to undermine Bama State? Your dirty laundry was put out by your own folks in previous posts and articles for all to see.
If Bama State wants to leave the conference, then have at it. That's your school's prerogative however don't expect folks NOT to make comments you disagree with, whether it's pro or anti Bama State.

Re: Alabama State Looking To Leave The SWAC? I think so, the handwriting was on the

Honestly who wants to play in the Sun Belt? Maybe the Louisiana SWAC teams, but I dont even want to play the Bama teams in the Sun Belt. Would the Bama State faithful want to play a Sun Belt schedule every year.

History has clearly shown that SWAC folks come out when their school plays OTHER HBCU schools....especially if the school has an exciting band.
Look at Tenn. State. Their highest attended games occur mostly when they play other HBCU's. Their lowest attended games occur in their own conference when they play White schools.

Re: Alabama State Looking To Leave The SWAC? I think so, the handwriting was on the

I like how a certain school in SWAC probably begged the SWAC to allow them membership into the conference 55 years ago, but now they think the SWAC is holding them back, although they might have one of the worse out-of-conference records in the SWAC. IMO, the SWAC definitely didn't do itself any favors when it allowed them membership, because I'm sure there were other HBCU programs that were a lot better. I hope the SWAC has learned its lesson over the 55 years, which is "Never grant low lifers membership into the conference again, because all they can do is bring the conference down."

How in the hell you know what happened 55 years ago?

The only way I would like to see S.U. play a Sunbelt schedule is with Grambling, Bama State and Jackson State in the conference as well. We both know that is not going to happen. S.U. would then play Alcorn, FAMU and Tennessee State as much as possible non conference. No one else really matters as far as I'm concerned.

Since I didn't name any particular school and if you would have READ my post thoroughly, you would have noticed the word PROBABLY, which means there was a likely possibility. But since your school wasn't the only school to join the SWAC 55 years ago and you question my ASSUMPTION on how they enter the conference, somehow I get the strange feeling that I am not far from the truth. :emlaugh:

Yeah ok. I honestly don't know when JSU entered the SWAC nor do I care. So whether you we're talking about us or not, I have no idea. My criticism is based on how dumb it was to even post that mess. Just because you used the word "probably" as a qualifier doesn't make it any less asinine.

Man what are you laughing at now? Would it have to do with some FACTUAL KNOWLEDGE? :emlaugh:

You know you step right into this
crap-emoticon.gif
. Next time, I suggest you do a little historical research before replying to anything concerning the SWAC Conference. And by the way, jSUe join the SWAC in 1958 along with another school, therefore one can only ASSUME on which school I was referring to.

It's ridiculous of the number of gullible people one school bring to this board that make this
shit-emoticon.gif
way too easy. :emlaugh:

Nice graphics. Your original post still doesnt make any sense. Also, thanks for the history lesson. Can u break down when each school joined the SWAC and whether or not they were invited or asked to join? You can also use this opportunity to post some more information no one asked for. And add some more of those pretty graphics while you're at it.

Since neither school is my Alma Mater, I personally don't give a
shit-emoticon.gif
if either school was invited or begged to join the SWAC conference, but my post must have made some sense, since you like the asinine graphic
crap-emoticon.gif
I posted. And since you are an alumnus of one of those two schools, I do believe it would be more in your best interest to find out if your school were invited or if they begged to be affiliated with the SWAC.

And by the way, my posts are no more asinine than folks from a particular school always complaining about the SWAC are holding them back. After 55 years, seems like someone would have wise up by now and moved on.

Seem like someone has a problem differentiating between an assumption and plausible proof. Also, it’s funny how ridiculous folks that's always posting ridiculous stuff can find something else ridiculous, especially when they are always fussing about being in a conference for 55 years that is holding them down. It is like listening to some broad with a bad case of battered housewife syndrome that is always complaining about how her husband mistreats her, but she keeps going back to him for more of his abuse, which sounds like some old hysterical beauty shop gossip.<img src="http://smileys.emoticonsonly.com/emoticons/g/gossip-867.gif" border="0" alt="Gossip" title = "Gossip emoticon" />

I'm glad we can get back to the topic, because at least I can say, "if Alabama State does leave the SWAC for the next level up, I've never heard them once cry about being held back for being affiliated with the SWAC Conference".

Like playing in the SWAC is soooooooooooo much better at a lower level.

Told you JR.
people here scoffing at the sunbelt and there is not a team in the SWAC that would come close to beating any of them.

man please.
As obsessed as you are with JSU, only a SU graduate could not figure out who you was talking about.

And any body that can't see how the SWAC as a whole holds our teams back with the dumb decisions they make, it is no wonder we have fallen to damm near irrevelant status as a conference. :smh:

So, what are you going to do about it? Bytch about it for another 55 years or man up and go find that progressive conference that would grant your school membership? :smh:

Re: Alabama State Looking To Leave The SWAC? I think so, the handwriting was on the

The only school that cant talk about moving up is JSU *shrugs*

 this is a message board you do realize that Right? You and this 55 year complaining crap sounds very moronic, considering you know nothing about JSU and their disposition with the SWAC conference over the last 55 years beyond TSPN. But for message board and entertainment sake I will answer your question by saying the necessary steps are being taking to further advance JSU athletics by our president and her administration...THE END. as long as Meyers heads the ship it will happen...

Also to anyone who says that the Sunbelt isn't a step above the SWAC cant be taken serious...Our laughable OOC record against Sunbelt opponents in any sport can support they are in a better position in terms of athletics!

I didnt say anything about being better.... I just know that the "fans" arent going to want to see their HBCU playing against white schools each week. Prime example just look at Tn State.
