SU Still Copying JSU?!!


Threads like this is why i wish SU was not so lame and sorry and could get to Bham. Step ya'll game up so you can be MORE like JSU.

Also, nobody outside of TSPN knew those were the dolls at the SB halftime becasue they didn't put on the screen who they were nor could they adversize beforehand that they would be on there. That show fit their style. The J-Settes have been the best HBCU dance group for decades.

Some of you are not qualified to finish anything. SU's band is currently not all that impressive and for some of you to even DREAM of comparing the current SU band under Jackson to those bands under Greggs shows how much you are willing to flat out lie just to make a point. Just pure shameful and a disrespectful tone against Greggs and his accomplishments.:smh:

Dude, don't get JSU dancers confused with Grambling's. If that did happen, too bad. It had nothing to do with the overall performance and it's CERTAINLY nowhere near as embarassing as was that debacle put on by Dr. Jackson and the Jukes that day. That day will go down in infamy.:lol::lol:

If this was the smack board, I'd post those pictures up of embarassed and stunned looks of both fans and band members.:lol: PRICELESS!!!

As far as the Super Bowl is concerned, SU's closer to New Orleans and you all give it that Louisiana flavor, so why not invite yall to the SB? That's logical thinking in my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

The "Boom" is a member of the NCAA Hall of Fame Bands along with Florida A&M, Grambling and Ohio State. Southern hasn't been inducted yet.

That is great for each of them; I am happy and proud of them all. However, that has no bearing on SU being better than any of them. Here is something to note. Tiger Woods is not in the Hall of Fame (yet), but I don't think anyone uses that to guage his greatness. As for SU, in due time my brother, in due time!

Uhhh, in case you didn't know, in sports, they don't allow folks into the Hall of Fame until they've retired. There's no excuse as to why SU shouldn't be in the NCAA HOF unless they're not on the NCAA's radar.

You are incorrect sir, at least in the case of golf. Phil Mickleson is already in the HOF and he is nowhere near retired.
Just so you can leave this thread a bit more educated, in golf, there is an age requirement.

Here is the point. We all have our favorites for whatever reason, and the bottom line is, quite frequently, you will see
one band do something that another band has done...no biggie; it is what it is and you like what you like.

As for me I will take the Jukebox over any other band!!!
