NAW,Just a educated Fool. everything she say is why broadway might be worth 350k, I know doug not giving us 250k worth. We have looked sloppy and un everthing else, but she blaming players still covering for Doug.. Not understanding that Doug is talking about people like her at the end of his interview.
he Says that people that say that they dont have talent cant do a fifth of what they can do, so dont listen to them. So Doug is talking to fools like her that say these kids are not talented

Doug didn't forget how to coach. Broadway didn't leave him any players. Broadway left that program in bad shape. That's part if the reason he was so ready to get the hell out. He couldn't get to the SCG with his own players. I don't understand why yall are so quick to throw Doug under the bus. It sounds more personal than professional. The guy hasn't had a chance to recruit one player to make up for Broadway sitting on his ass for 4 years.

So how did Broadway win 9 games last year GR? How did he stay in the hunt? Why don't you just admit it. That some coaches like Broadway can actually COACH with whatever they got. And some certain coaches better be able to OUT Athlete the other teams because they can't really coach up their program. Just be honest about that. Sure every coach wants superior talent. But some coaches are just good enough to make do with what fits their system. That was Broadway. Got to give him his props on that. Just because dude didn't recruit WRs that ran 4.3 forty's and were all 6-2 and taller don't mean he couldn't coach. Spears had the same talent since we know Broadway didn't recruit as you say.......but couldn't win with the very talent he recruited but Broadway did. Something aint adding up. Just like your boy Comegy. He aint a coach em up guy. If he can't out athlete the other team. He will never out X and O's a better coach. As a matter of fact. What was his record against non recruiting Broadway. Just asking. Before you even go there.......yeah I know poor ole SU didn't beat Comegy. We know that. I guess we couldn't out athlete him. But if you notice something. Broadway actually beat SU worse than yall did with supposed less talent. See where I am going with that. Dude just got a bad break at GSU.

That's just GR. He is always enamored with coaches that seem to be great recruiters. But what good is it, if they can't coach those kids to their potential or better? I can remember all the posts he said about Pete even before Pete retired on me. LOL. Saying JSU always had better talent. But Pete would still beat yall during his run. Same thing Pete did to Gram and Doug.

TigerDiva, this is 2011 sweetie. The SWAC can not move forward anymore on pride and tradition alone. BH can NEVER go back to the McNair days or even the Donald Carrie/Charlie Spiller days. THIS IS 2011. It is alumni with your similar mentality that is killing our schools. Steve Spurrier sure has had some tough seasons at SC but he sure is STILL THE HEAD COACH isn't he. In the SWAC, somebody could be winning but because we label him as "arrogant", we get rid of him even though his record proves otherwise. What's wrong, you hate it because I often mention names like Mack Brown, Nick Saban, and Les Miles? Tell me something, what has the SWAC done better than the MEAC the past five years. Because quite frankly, if Bethune-Cookman can have the ESPNU GAME OF THE WEEK PLAYING A MONEY GAME, your conference is doing something. We the SWAC need to quit (I know you Greeks Hate This) PERPETRATING ourselves to be something WE ARE NOT. We need to focus on what we CURRENTLY HAVE IN 2011 and work on molding our product and marketing to fit the SWAC of 2011!!!!!!!!!

Dude was a good coach and he didnt care about none of that ass kissing, political bullshit that is messing over SWAC sports today. Dude said the hell with that dog and pony show (which he is right) and didnt cater to all the side coaches who aint putting a penny to any fund. Now they got Boogery Doug and him and his weak arm son is on a 3 game losing streak. Damn shame how the Gram folk did Broadway.
 
I don't see it as whining and complaining as much as questioning why we're not winning? I don't think it's so much a difference in scheme as it is a result of "change" and how it was presented and accepted.
For whatever reason, it apparently hasn't meshed and that's a concern. However, I think it will... the open date should help that.

Doug is a grown azz man and how he chooses to react to "criticisim/complaints" is on him... Personally, I think it would have served him better not to take a divisive "naysayers, theysayer" attitude. That didn't work out so well for the guy who preceded him either. Rather than divide the fan base into us vs them... Head coaches should be more of the "we're all gonna work to get this back rolling and encourage our fans to continue to support THEIR Tigers". Damn I still miss Eddie!

No he didn't spit in my Kool-Aid. Coach Broadway and I were cool. We had each other's celli numbers and errthang. We talked on the phone from time to time. He gave me passes for road games and all; I helped him with transportation for his coaches they came in the city to visit area schools. But he left a $225K plus job at my alma mater, like a thief in the night, where he was treated as good as any coach other than Coach Rob was treated.
He showed no concern for the team, the team that had just gone 9-2. The team he won 1 SCG with. Forget about the alums, the administration, the co-workers, the peers. What about the PLAYERS? He even left Short Dawg. Didn't even take him with him to NC A&T. And he did this after he'd gotten on TV, on the news, and said "I'm not going anywhere; Grambling is my home".

Child, please. It's about W's for you all. It's about more than W's with me. Even if you don't love the "G", you betta "ack" like you do! Word. That goes for coaches, professors, presidents, janitors, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers.
