Denver needs to put this cat in the game

he is a great cheerleader...

The next time Gasol and Lamar Odor actually box somebody out before going for the rebound will be their first time. Didnt they learn that in grade school.

BTW...the Lakers got robbed in 2nd and 3rd quarter by the refs

Ain't that the truth...

LOL

STC thought the refs did a pretty decent job. Both teams wer battling game long. Denver is just so physical . The Lakers are not a physical team at all. Odom is just too soft. This is a series that STC has been looking forward to. Denver is just plaing better basketball right now.

Denver still had a chance at the end. Melo 3pter should have been scored as a 3 but the refs sored it as a long 2 but Chauncey foot was also out of bounds on that last 3 also.

The refs will have an even harder time in game 2 with denver playing so physical. Denver frontline ain't mesing around. Melo is playing at a higher level. He did okay on Kobe when faced with the task of guarding him. Dante Jones is just too small. He may have to aggrivate Kobe and get Kobe out of his game. Denver started doing that on Kobe. He still needs help.

Actually the Refs scored Melo's 3 a 3... they just reviewed it later to make sure.

Is it possible that Lamar Odom is point shaving?
As poorly as he played in the 4th, you cant be that sorry on purpose....knocking the ball out of bounds when his guy has the ball, inexplicibably going to the lane throwing up crap. He knew he wasnt doing schit all day, why wait til the 4th to do that dumb crap he was doing?

Dam it was a lot of frontrunning on that first page. Notice none of them posters came back after the game was over! :)

He was doing it in the first qrt too, smh. That guy irks the shat out of me, the other guys I can deal with. Its something about Odom though smh.....

It was a great game.

Bynum and Gasol was playing shook 1st game. Gasol will more than likely have a better game next time but Bynum was not fairing to well, especially on the defensive side.

If NeNe stays out of foul trouble he will be a factor..he was getting easy points last night. And Kenyan Martin gotta go in...they giving him leeway..so he needs to take advantage.

I think Kobe and Mello will end up guarding each other more they both faired well against each other.

JR Smith?:vomit:

Nuggets need to re evaluate Derrick Fisher, he got his shot back...those doubles on Kobe gonna hurt them if he is floating around and shooting like he did last night.

Odom needs his Queensbridge NYC card taken from him. He done become softer than a loaf of bread since going to L.A.

Lucky for him that Denver got some head cases up front that do equally dumb isht. LOL.

That dude is Bipolar or something. He helps play defense and keeps the ball in bounds. Then he gets the ball back and drives to the hole with two defenders and throws up isht. While Kobe and another Laker trailing the play. All he had to do was kick it out.

The best part of this series is that Kobe gets to post up down low. He has not done that since the days of Shaq and Kobe,. Of course he got the move from MJ but he use to kill folks down low. Now he can post up Carter,Billups and Donte. I love it.

He will stay at the Freethrow line.

And boy have the Lakers gotten any good calls this post season. Even when Jerry so called Laker Savior Crawford calls games we always on the short end of the stick. touch fouls on one end hacking on the other. Geese..

Prime example was Ariza stole the ball and Carmelo dives into him. The didn't call nothing they let them fall to floor then a jump ball. That was a foul.

This just in......Kenyon Martin has a broken finger on his left hand, but will play and JR Smith has a strained calf and is questionable.

The spirit of the Denver Nuggets is not broken. But their power forward's finger is.

What was originally diagnosed as a contusion to the left, non-shooting, ring finger of Kenyon Martin turned out to be a fracture. A Nuggets spokesman said Wednesday that Martin would play tonight in Game 2 of the Lakers-Nuggets series and probably would tape the finger to stabilize it.

Lakers/Denver game.....most-viewed basketball game, college or pro, in ESPN history.

http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/watchdog...ttracted_b.html

Ratings data from ESPN regarding Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference finals:

The Nuggets-Lakers tilt Tuesday was watched in an average of 5.8 percent of homes with ESPN and by 8.1 million people, making it the most-viewed basketball game, college or pro, in ESPN history.

Compared to ESPN's coverage of last year's Eastern Conference finals opener between the Pistons and Celtics, viewership was up 49 percent.

Tuesday's game averaged 16.1 percent of homes in Denver, the highest rating for an ESPN or ABC game in records kept since 2003.

I need Gasol and Odor to show up tonight.....and can I get a lil something from Bynum...just a little

Gasol needs to score 20-25
Odom need to have 15-20

And you know my main man is going to DO WORK
I think he is going to need some help this time unlike Tuesday when he beat 5 professional basketball players by himself. How awesome was that? I dont think he sat down the whole second half. Thats what a winner does.

Simply the best

Keep wishing. Both of those bums are too soft and weak. If I was NY, I would disown Odom. He plays like one of those European players.

How in the hell can Stern sit back and watch this BS and not fire every single one of these referees. This is absolutely horrible. One second they are calling touch fouls. Then a cat gets mug and they don't call crap. The Nuggets are getting robbed.

HHhhhhhhmmmmmmmm........

Did the NBA hire a retired Army general as the director of officiating after the referee scandal that broke two years ago? Yes, I am asking sarcastically.

You have got to be kidding me with these refs. First JR Smith runs across the circle on a jump ball right under the tap and then Carmelo Anthony pushes Ariza down and no call. This is sad.

   I can't even get mad at this team no more. The schit is funny and It has been the Lakers all season. They can't keep a d@mn lead for one.

In Game 2, it was the Lakers not making critical free throws down the stretch. Kobe Bryant, excellent again for Los Angeles along with Gasol to help the effort.

However, Carmelo Anthony along with Billups were fantastic for Denver. Anthony has impressed me in this series with not only his scoring, but his toughness.
