Lakers versus Denver.....

Great! you're talking about a one game or two in a series vs an entire playoff and if you're really trying to be fair you know everybody who has a fair sense of the game has been complaining about that from day one.

.

The whole purpose in me bringing up the Stockton flop in 1998 was that refs have been inconsistent since forever. Why is everybody acting surprised and getting angry now? The refs in the Bulls-Celtics series made some 50/50 calls, but I did not complain about it every damn game like you are. It's part of every sport. Deal with it.

Heck, I complained more about KG yapping on the sidelines than the refs.

Your selective comprehension is disgusting, I know you fully understood what I was saying and it has nothing to do with this load of crap you're shoveling now.

I'm not arguing the missed call, just pointing out the hypocrisy of you and others cherry-picking which bad calls you want to harp on.
How is what I had to say being hypocritical? All I was saying when the game is winding down those kind of calls/non-calls really hurt. There were only 15 seconds left and the refs blew two calls while the Lakers had the ball. If there were 3 minutes left in the game when that happened I could live with it because that's plenty of time to recover but with 15 seconds, nah. Those were game changing non-calls.

You go back and look at it. His body blocked the camera from seeing Carmello push him but when they showed it from another angle it's clear as day.

Nope, Ariza was already falling down and it appeared Anthony pushed him. Yes, his arms were extended, but Anthony did not push him. What about dude who was guarding Kobe getting three fouls in the first quarter? I'd say two of them could have went either way. But you can't overlook that if you are going to breakdown a foul that was not a foul on Ariza.

You are mad because your team lost. That is fine.

And no explaination someone tries to give that is objective you will take. I don't care who wins this series personally.

Actually I would not mind watching the Lakers advance to the NBA Finals because it would be great theater.

But I am not going to be clouded by homerism like you are in the assessment of these games.

Good Lord. A Kobe hater saying he isn't going to be clouded by homerism. LOL. Your hate trumps anything.

I'm not a Lakers fan.

Wasn't directing that at you, bruh...just that down the stretch the Lakers "seems" to get favorable calls. Now that might just be the "anti-Laker" in me.

Sidenote: Personally, I think it would be good for the NBA if it's Orlando vs Denver in the Finals. I think the league is better have multiple title contending teams instead of going back to it being Laker/Celtic - Magic/Bird as it was during the 80's. I want to see different teams push through and get championships each season.

Kenderick as much as you work overtime to present yourself as an unbias observer of sports you always some how come right back to simple childish rationale.

The notion or idea that I'm as you say "mad" because my team lost is about as juvenile an explanation that can be made given my assessment of the entire playoffs series (not just the lakers games) from day one which actually goes back to when the i complained about the Miami heat being given a championship by virtue of not allowing anyone to even breath on Dywane Wade.

As I said earlier no one that has a fair sense of sports could look at these playoffs and say the officiating isn't the most inconsistent in history. I didn't say it was the worst officiating ever and that the Lakers loss because it.

I know for some of you who are alot smarter than me it's kind of hard to split the difference between the two, but maybe for some if they look at the game from a fans position and that a position of being a coach/former coach, a ref/former ref it might be little easier for them figure out and get it.

Just another bump in the road to a championship. Oh well.....

These next 2 games in Denver won't be easy for LA. Yea, LA beat Denver 4-5 times in the regular season, but this aint the regular season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Denver wins these next 2 at home.

Everybody's blaming the refs but I put the blame on Phil Jackson. He sat Ariza most of the fourth and he sat Bynum, who was FINALLY having a good game, and he kept him on the bench when the Lakers had the lead. He took him out, then they come back because the Lakers had no rebounding.
Farmar and Brown are actually playing much better together than Fisher and Sasha at this point.

Why play Fisher, Luke and Sasha big minutes and they can't throw it in the ocean? Phil has the talent to beat Denver, but he doesn't know when to push the right buttons anymore.

Why was the last play drawn up for Fisher?:retard:
This loss is on Phil.

na JRob.... Kobe choked.... I saw you saw the turnover that caused the jump ball situation..... your man Kobe CHOKED.

That one play didn't cost us the game. Mismanagement of talent and poor playcalling cost us the game.
For the life of me, I don't understand why Luke Walton is getting big minutes and he can't shoot, rebound or play a lick of defense.

The absence of Bynum hurt us on the boards. Bynum was in for a good game, but Jackson held him back for no apparent reason, plus Farmar's not getting good minutes like he should. I don't understand Phil's lineups at times.

Gotta give credit to Denver though. They playin some ball right now. Billups is the key to that team. As he goes, so goes Denver. I hate they got him. They can thank Dumars for that gift.

sorry Jay.... that play cost you the game.. no Kobe turnover would have equated to a Kobe jump shot. He was on fire and was NOT going to pass the ball or miss a jump shot at that point. If he doesnt turn the ball over at that point... Lakers win.

You may be right but I see you're confident Kobe would have closed it out LOL. Sorry I couldn't help it.

But yeah, without that turnover you don't have the 2 non-calls on the jump ball.

Wow.... I get called a Kobe hater and I did not even say the man's name or anything negative against the Lakers at all about Game 2. In fact, I even said Kobe and Pau Gasol played great games last night. But I get called a hater.

So true... Phil Jackson needs to realize that Kobe needs productive guys on the floor with him to match Denver's offensive capabilities. Unlike most games where Kobe has the ability to outscore your top two guy (combined), it ain't gonna be the case in this series. For one thing Carmelo Anthony is capable of giving 30 plus each nite and like Kobe can put up MONSTER scoring numbers. That negates the "wow" factor of Kobe and allows Denver to then say "okay, let's see if the rest of yall can out score the rest of us".

Bynum, Gasol, and Odom gives LA a rebounding and scoring edge in the paint. Each of those guys are capable of being double/double guys. When you think about it Denver doesn't have double/double guys inside...except Anthony. Force him to have to play Odom inside defensively and free up Kobe to abuse whatever perimeter guy is guarding him.

Oh and it would be Farmar and Brown getting the key minutes at guard... when Kobe's out to catch a breather would be when Fisher got his minutes.

Phil is sooooo overrated as a strategist...(IMO)

It was very un-Kobe like.

melo wearing him down... It's noble of Kobe to step up and try and answer the call, but dem bigs for Denver gonna have to step up and man up to play Anthony on defense. But even if he goes off for big numbers, hell you don't need Kobe wearing down banging with Melo...it ain't gonna work. If it didn't work in La then it damn sho ain't gonna work in Denver.

what you mean you couldnt help it.... Ive NEVER said Kobe wanst a baller...He just isnt no King James.

DaHill... do you really think LeBron is better than Kobe? Nothing wrong if you do, but I think Kobe's better all round is simply more talented. Kudos to LeBron for what he does, but Kobe's the better offensive and defensive player. But that's my opinion.

Both coaches made big blunders in this game. Anthony made Karl take sorry Anthony Johnson out of the game and put in Kleiza. Kleiza made some plays down the stretch. Karl also mucked up when he rested Anthony with a 7 point lead and 8 minutes to go in the 4th. The Nuggets were getting ready to blow the game wide open. I see why Karl hasn't won a damn thing in all his years of coaching.
