That's when the game had some umph to it, look how big that crowd was and the game had not started yet! Haven't seen that big of crowd in a while!

The BOOM also marched in at about 6:15 for a 7 PM start. That is how we used to do it. The BOX had been sitting there since 5ish. :lol:

I actually preferred 06 to either of the games in the 90's becasue it was a more complete game. The pregame nor the game in 1997 were that great...there were just a lot of people there. The pre-game in 1999 will never be duplicated but the WHOLE game (with about 15K fewer fans) in 2006 was good.

We were there a lil while before they got there but not no 2 dayum hours... You lie about everything...smh By the way we were playing before JStank arrived "LATE".. we shole taught them not to be late anymore. That's what daddy do though, when your child gets out of line, we spank their arse right back in place...

I guess you don't have to do math at SU to get an engineering degree. 5 PM to 6:15 is NOT two hours.....sheesh.

Umm DuMASS I was reffering to you saying we were there for 5 and the game started at 7..

What's 5 - 7 TP? And to further that we were not there for an hour 15 before JSU got there... That's another lie...

Jukebox blowing on the "Boom" as they march into the stadium is not a new thing. In 1983 we brought terror to Memorial Stadium and blew on a weak "Boom" as they marched into the Stadium. At the time (to me) it seem to be ok, but in retrospect it was (and still is) a disservice to the "Boom" and the people who came to see the bands.

No matter what we may say or think about the Boom..watching them enter a stadium to "Get Ready" is an Awesome site to see.

Dude, SU didn't teach nobody a dayum thing. Yall tried to cut our brake lines on the buses and then turned around and SOLD the BOOM's seats. That's just how yall was raised I guess.:smh:

The reason yall play when JSU marches in is because your band director don't want your fans to see and enjoy the sights and sounds and thrills of a thousand eyes....THE JACKSON STATE UNIVERSITY SONIC BOOM OF THE SOUTH!!!

Ya'll were more than HOUR early-- that I do remember. Maybe not 2 hours early, but ya'll were super early. Ya'll can front like ya'll want. :tdown:

We got there an hour before the game, which put us where we needed to be.

Just admit ya'll had an agenda and STHU. Goodness, it's been more than 10 years.

Honestly, we had ZERO agenda.... We got in there expecting yall to already be there... We were already playing before you all marched in.. So we were just in there entertaining the crowd...

Like Juke said, when you are early you are on time, when you are on time you are LATE!!!
We taught Yall a lesson that day... I bet yall won't let it happen again.. I double dare ya...

Why keep talking about being late???? :xeye: We weren't late. We were there before 6 p.m. (an hour before game) and marched in by 6 p.m.

I got to the game around 5:30 and they were already seated. The BOOM did not come in until around 6 (maybe even 6:15). That dude's memory is bad or he was on suspension that day.
