A quarter till 6 is 5:45 and he says the tape shows we weren't in the stands yet... Which MEANS we more than likely got in the stands around 5:50 ish..

I told TP we got in there 5:59 being funny.. But I do know it was somewhere around that time and not BEFORE no 5:30 or at 5:00 like TP is trying to say.

Blade also said it wasn't PLANNED.. Like I already said, one may argue like TP like to that BLADE was a freshman and he was getting hazed so he wouldn't know...Po' TP :retard: , but I was an upperclassmen and I KNOW that isht wasn't planned..

JSU stop arguing with your SUPERIORS, SU has made The Sonic Doom change their entire playing style: especially in the stands! The Jukebox owns The Sonic Pop just face it! I must admitt though, JSU's band note taking skills has helped them compete with The Jukebox! Good Job! Now please take notes on 8 to 5 marching sheesh! :clap:

THAT IS NOT WHAT HE SAID. You should be able to surmise by his comments that the jokeBOX was in the stands at 5:45 which means he has no idea how long before that, they were there.

Also, SU does not sound the same either so who are they trying to be like..JSU? :lecture: you STILL can't play a ballad to save your life so probably not.

Ive watched that tape countless times. There was no police beat or nutt'n when dude was talk'n (the quarter til comment). So, anywhere AFTER 5:46...Southern marched in.

Was it a skeet before 5:45...don't know...that's why I put "I think". Cuz, uh...things were going on at the time...so, I might not be accurate. But, the tape...:tup:

I think the "Boom" marching into a packed stadium minutes before kickoff is a more memorable event than the "Boom" marching into a near empty stadium three hours before kickoff!

SU still sounds good for the most part. Consistently better than rest of the conference for sure. All this hip hop isht is hard to arrange and have empty parts in these songs. Only a few really have any musical substance.

As far as marching..........aint nobody marching these days, band directors are lazy..... it has become all about the stands for some reason.....but again the recent versions of SU band do it better and more consistent than the rest of yall. That's for damn sure. Are they the same from the 70s, 80s and some of the 90s......no......but they sure aint as far removed from those bands as the rest of the SWAC bands are from their glory days.... the ones who even had glory days. LOL. Only PV and UAPB probably can claim they have gotten better over time.

What ballad was better than "Take You Down"..."Weak"..."Spend the Night"..."My, My, My" by any HBCU?! Just those four are kill'n JSt. and everyone else. And, that's saying something when SU is a power band and still kill'n the SWAC with ballads. So, apparently, TP ain't close to be real when it comes to SU and ballads.

J5t should be one of the last to criticize a ballad. Rough technique on a slow song don't mean isht...esp, when the arrangement is poo to begin with.


And, I know you need to go back and highlight JR's comment about SU marching better and more consistant. Better yet...show me evidence of someone marching better and more consistant than SU. I'll wait (forever).

She know that, she just choose to play dumb on here for the sake of not letting SU get too much props... She told me personally the exact thing she left black...lol Crit is full of it sometimes....smh

First of all, what's in black is a matter of OPINION-- just like what I agreed with is my OPINION.

And second, ballads aren't SU's specialty. And that's MY OPINION. It doesn't mean that ya'll can't effectively play a ballad from time to time, because you can. But it's not what ya'll are at your best at. Once again, my opinion.
You ain't got to agree, because I really don't care.

All that other stuff you wrote, I didn't bother reading.

And lay off the weed, Jared. I have absolutely no problems giving SU or any other band their props. Unlike you, I LIKE to see ALL the SWAC bands do well.
That's the difference between me and you. I've grown past all that "let's hate the other bands, because I'm a diehard for my school!"
If another band is kicking arse, I have no issues giving the props, including SUcks! :tup:
