Reed had an outstanding week for the Lady Tigers, going 13-for-17 (.764) with 9 RBI’s, four doubles, a triple and a homer while scoring 10 runs as J-State went 3-2 for the week.
The sophomore slugger went 4-for-4 against both Texas Southern and Miles College while going 3-for-3 against Prairie View A&M.

Meggan Serrano, Texas Southern; 5-6, FR; Austin, TX
Serrano came out of the bullpen and recorded two saves and a win for the Lady Tigers last week, including providing relief in a 4-3 victory over defending champion Mississippi Valley State and 7-6 win over Jackson State.
In 10.2 innings on the mound, Serrano struck out eight batters and walked three while only allowing 13 hits
