Former Tuskegee defensive back Malik Moore has announced he is taking his talents to the Southland Conference, committing to play for Stephen F. Austin in his final year of eligibility.
Moore spent each of the past four seasons at Tuskegee, serving as the team’s starting corner in his final three years.
The Tallahassee native compiled 203 total tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, three interceptions, nine pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 32 games.
He was named to the All-SIAC in the past two seasons as a linebacker and defensive back, respectively.
A former All-American and a multiple-time SIAC All-Conference Member.

Moore also received an offer from Alabama A&M after entering the transfer portal in December.
He joins a Stephen F. Austin team that re-joined the Southland Conference last year after a stint in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Last season, in its third season under head coach Aaron James, Tuskegee finished with a 5-6 overall record, marking its first year finishing with a losing record since 2021.
Their six-season drought without an SIAC title (the last conference championship came in 2017) is the longest since 1997.
