Mississippi Valley State has updated its 2021 fall football schedule, which now includes a Sunday contest.
MVSU will begin the season with two nonconference contests on the road at Murray State (Sept. 4) and on Sept. 18 against Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas.
The Delta-Devils will begin conference play against Southern in the Delta-Bayou Classic on Sunday, Sept. 26, at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi.

Saturday, Oct. 2, will be the home opener and homecoming game for MVSU when the team will host North Carolina Central before traveling to Daytona Beach, Florida, to play Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 9.
Mississippi Valley State will begin a three-game homestand the following week (Oct. 16) against Alcorn State, Florida A&M (Oct. 23) and Jackson State (Oct. 30) before a Nov. 6 matchup against Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Ala.
The final two games of the season will be in Itta Bena, Mississippi, against Alabama State on Nov. 13 and at Prairie View A&M on Nov. 27.
