Another prominent Jackson State contributor has entered the transfer portal.
Wide receiver Daylen Baldwin announced Tuesday that he will no longer be with the team.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound junior led Jackson State in receiving with 540 yards and seven touchdowns during the spring season.

“I have learned so much from JSU while also having fun and enjoying my college experience, but God has something different in place for me,” Baldwin wrote on Instagram. “It’s always love JSU.”
Baldwin was named a finalist for the Conerly Trophy, which given annually to the best football player in the state of Mississippi by the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.
Baldwin was also named the SWAC Newcomer of the Year and voted to the All-SWAC Football First Team Offense.

Baldwin had been one of many Tigers to enter the portal since the end of the regular season, including quarterbacks Jalon Jones and Quincy Casey.
